My husband (a designer and animator) wants Dr. Micah to know that he got a very good price on his motion graphics video. Believe it or not, he probably got a price break!
Omg, it’s the awesome Dr. Knowles! He’s incredible! This was an outstanding and the most educational rabbit health video I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to share it. Thank you so much for posting! Please keep sharing conference videos like this. ❤️
Great presentation and information. I hope more people take this on board and research continues to help our beloved companion rabbits stay happy and healthy.
After watching more, it seems like Magoo’s PH may be off and therefore the mucus is not being broken down enough? The mucus is not nearly as much as it was, but there should not be any except what is covering the cecatropes. Correct? His stool is still shiny and somewhat soft and oblong. Not round and dry. He is a free run bunny so there is nothing worse than getting up at night and stepping in a surprise! Lol. Any info you can give would be great. I and continuing my research and pick safe healthy weeds that are safe and full of all the good natural medicinal benefits.
I am at the tail end of pulling my bunny out of a severe gastrointestinal isssue. I have been using mostly all natural herbs, critical care, safe weeds, IV fluids along with belly massages. It’s been about 2 months so far and he is much much better. I had to save his hind end and butt bath continuously to keep the mucus from saturation and skin scald. His stool is still a bit soft along with some mucus leakage . When I pick him up the poop spills out on the floor. It’s as if he has lost some spinster control. He poops as he eats his dandelions and hay on the floor. What else can I do to firm his stool and rid the excess mucus?? I researched the web for days and have made leaps and bounds. The only pellets he gets are Timothy based with probiotics. Timothy hay, herbal teas, plantain leaves , dandelions and the roots and I boil rose hips to soften and he drinks the juice from that.

More hay/grass, less greens. When did he last see the vet?
