@@rkhandle Chinese sounds deeper and more aggressive because it’s all about tones than anything. So in Korean and Japanese etc. it doesn’t matter and it’s just about how their voice sounds in general
@@Kiara_kh what’s the “💀” for u obviously don’t have a great vocabulary extent anyways bc ur a toddler and don’t know what it means i meant it in a way as in to say wow🤓
Awwww, this is so cute! It was great to listen to you speaking in Chinese. I've been studying for a while and learning new languages has definitely enlightened me to things like what you're experience must have been like moving here. Very inspirational story, great job staying strong and sticking with it, trust me you fit in everywhere more than you think. This is one of my favorite things I've watched recently, I really appreciate how thoughtful and sincere you are. 非常感谢!你太棒了!
I agree so badly! Even her voice is so deep and beautiful it totally matches her, and her words are really pretty too and great story! 😊❤ agreed with u tsunami
Amazing story, thank you for sharing. Looking back now I can only think about the the opportunities and experiences that I have missed by not being as bold as you. Hope you the best and much success.
:0 your voice is beautiful even though it turned deep. I’m so glad I see some people liking to learn Chinese, as the people of it! It makes me really happy!❤
I was born in Hong Kong and went to the US when I was 13, so I can totally relate to you in some ways. The only difference is that I already spoke English fluently. I ended up living in LA for 15 years
That's amazing that you picked up English so quickly, sorry you felt sort of like a fish out of water when you came to the US, but your English now is great 👍
chinese is my first language too! that's crazy though your parents let you go at 14?! My parents don't even let me walk to my friend's house that's 10 minutes away...(I'm 14) and I also haven't spoken chinese in the longest time-
I also went through a similar problem, having gone to an international school from elementary-highschool in my country then moved to the US. I don’t fit in w the Asian Americans but also can’t relate to the fobs.
1:00 late teens are truly an awkward age to change your country. You are not young enough to fully integrate like small kids are able to do; yet you're not old enough to fully remain who you were. We are known as "3rd culture kids". The third culture means we end up creating our own culture inside our heads, which is a personal blend of elements from our old culture and the new. For some of us this is something really great, as we are comfortable both in our old culture and the new one. But for some of us it can be tough, because we're not comfortable in either culture, and end up living out the "3rd culture" that we created, fitting-in neither there or here. I personally think most teens (and adults as well) should have access to private counselors who could help them integrate as fully as possible. I wish I had, when I immigrated to U.S. at age 16..
Totally understand I am also stuck in the middle but you sounds more lucky than me cus I am aboard uk when I was 21 and all I know is “have a good day“ . Now I am 22 working in here which make me always feel lonely. I mean even how nice my colleagues are the culture and my language level always makes us difficult to communicate and bond . Thank you for letting me know I am not the only one.
Ur voice went so deep as soon as u spoke chines damm
Isn’t it usually the other way around? I always found ppl sounding 2 octaves highr when speaking an Asian language

What's the "damn" for 💀
normally people speak deeper when it is their first language because they are more comfortable with it
@@Kiara_kh what’s the “💀” for u obviously don’t have a great vocabulary extent anyways bc ur a toddler and don’t know what it means i meant it in a way as in to say wow🤓
As soon as she spoke up i was shocked by her deep voice
yes I’ve noticed that when people speak different languages, their voice changes!
It’s normal bc the pronunciation is supposed to be deep

i know that feel about identity crisis. u are who u are! 不論你和身邊的人有多不一樣,也是會有懂你的人在; 就算和身邊的人有相同經歷,也會有孤單的時候吧?
也許人會覺得孤單,是因為每個人都是獨一無二吧.....嗎? 加油

One does not simply go and decide at 14, "I'll go to the US and study" without much thought, money and let alone, being alone.
你英语真的太好了,一直以为你是ABC👍🏻
