Casi una hora de show, 4 canciones, 2/3 del show fue improvisación. Sonido bueno, perfecto clima. Momento inolvidable, nunca volverá a suceder en la historia. Dichosos los que estuvimos ahi. Larga vida al dios Omar.
I was there and it was really unbeliavable. From time to time I need to come back here to remember this. One of the best live performances I've ever witnessed.
Where this concert have been all this time? This is unbelievably good. I mean everybody in the band is at his best. Pure gold, thank you for uploading it.
RIPower, Ikey owens. thx u for the amazing contributions to this band. drunkship of lanterns. the 25 minute version. yes, please. is Omar using 2 heads w/ only slight millisecond delay out of the right channel?
You know a song was written in too high of a key (wax simulacra) when the singer is constantly flat on it the year the album came out lmao. If this band ever gets back together they better start writing songs in lower keys for mid 40s cedric.
yeah, that yelpy style doesnt really sound good, not even on the album. hes reaching HARD. check out the 07 versions of the song- same thing. IDK what they were thinking lol
@@bobbybyers7107 yeah they did it but i absolutely hated this album. To me mars volta was always a hard rock/prog band. This sounds like an omar side project, money was running low so they simply slapped the mars volta logo on it in a cash grab attempt. This sounds like a meticulously crafted creative TMV album to you?
@@trenken I enjoyed it plenty, especially the second version of it. But the shows they sounded as good as ever, which at this point in their history is good enough for me.
During the Amp and Bedlam period (this show included) they actually did have a second guitar player. Paul Hinojos from ATDI did rhythm guitar and sound manipulation, you can usually see him just behind Ikey.
This^. Plus they got keyboard, sax, chaotic drumming and strong basslines, combine this with frantic guitar playing using two heads with slight delay and you get one of fullest sounds in modern prog
Simply one of the best Volta live shows and one of my favorites. I always come back to this one. The ferocious energy is tangible. Amazing.
Audio quality is great, performance is insane. Thanks for the upload
Juan Alderete Bass Tone 🔥

Argentinians the only ones that really dance with TMV
Not since Zeppelin could a band kill an hour so effectively with 4 songs.

I have to remind myself when I watch them live that they only have one guitar player. Maybe Omar's looping or doubling stuff somehow? Crazy.
