- Who can forget John Sergeant's hilarious Paso Dable in which he dragged partner Kristina Rihanoff across the dance floor?! Clip taken from the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
This is a channel from BBC Studios who help fund new BBC programmes. Service information and feedback: www.bbcstudios...
Have watched over and over-always cheers me up.
So brilliant,if every week they had someone on like this even I would watch it.
Whatever you say, this is the best paso doble thus far.
The face of a man concentrating wholly on his marching
Ah - he is trying so hard - but those stompy little feet are so funny. Love this dance, for all the wrong reasons!
The important thing is that he believed was done correctly and gracefully.
It's the Paso Doble as danced by an English Gent. It's a thing to behold!
Love this 💖
This was what strictly was entertaining not now not the same
it's the expression on JS face that makes it genius...
She plays this brilliantly too. A proper woman. She gets it. The only woman in the world not to notice John is no Adonis - whirls round like she owns it - and thus does. She carries the whole gag. Full credit.
@InnocenceExperience
Only the best for John Sergeant, greatest gentleman to ever live.
Absolute classic. What a guy.
Comic genius..
Just drag her along the floor
David James has finally given John Sergeant a run for his money!
@MrEnnuyant I have tremendous respect for your words.
Thanks for re-uploading this clip as you already had it, it's great to see this wonderful man again.... I was enjoying this until I read the description... "John Sergeant's hilarious..." I'm sorry.. Hilarious? What John did was Beautiful... dancing like a pure Gentleman... How dare you use tax payers money to say he was hilarious?! I am so offended. John Sergeant is my hero and you have just isolated a huge section of the license paying public... Stay classy BBC

People were moaning that John should have been voted out long ago because he couldn't dance but the point is non of the celebrities can dance its entertainment that's why you watch it.
John Sergeant was a better ballroom dancer than a Latin dancer. I remember he got three or four Latin dances in a row which was a bit unfair
His next ballroom dance after this run of Latin dances was considered surprisingly appealing by Bruno
@max9ish No one can replace the man of our time himself John Sergeant
Which one is the one where he plays her leg like a guitar?
She should’ve won!
@NaviLight No, it WAS hilarious.
@NaviLight lol thats the best use of the 'tax payers money' complaint I've ever heard! no offence
CHARLES 2
DAME ARLENE 3
VINCENT 4
TRENT 2
Total 11
I came here from the 'Heroic Failures' books by Stephen Pile. Anyone else?
@RobertNicholls
There is nothing to be proud about being first on this poxy movie clip…! =)
John is a real gentleman and is also better than ann widdecome at dancing thats for sure
@jonnyd89 Absolutely agree with you!!!
ouch
@Dayj80 ( i think it may have been sarcasm)
dose anyone know the music
@paradais2 Goodness - seriously?!
What is the music? Is there any longer version than 1:43 ?
What is the music they are playing
claudius germanicus the song is concierto de aranjuez - joaquin Rodrigo
Guys, this is nothing - watch Michael Bolton dancing on Dancing with the Stars. He sings with plenty of soul, but he has NO rhythm!
@bbqufc
This is come dancing and not come while dancing..! lol
@Wh47n0w1517 agreed. I thought the channel was high quality but geez, did I get that wrong.
@tantchenelse oh wow, such an articulate reasoned attempt at trying to understand a point of view different to your own! did you write this yourself or did someone else help you?
If he was a better dancer he would have won that year because his personality, enjoyment and dedication were all 10s. And ever since the BBC done him the way they did, making him resign from the show though no fault of his own the general public kept him in, I stopped watching.
epic fail!
@jeorge345 I think you misunderstand the reasoning as to why the populace finds this so hilarious.
dancing CAN be a thing of beauty and CAN be amazing, but only when done correctly, i am no dancing expert but even i can see he is out of time, and just appears to be 'stomping', moving with no elegance whatsoever...... I therefore propose you are not one of the 'select few' that can enjoy the finer things infact you have no knowledge about dancing and just associate this with the upperclass
A shame he withdrew from the competition, despite the fact he would never win. I think he thought he might after being voted through each week.
@jeorge345 It's not funny nor beautiful. It's pitiful!
@Dayj80 whether he's in step or out, this is crass! To drag a woman around is simply abusive behaviour at worse or patriarchal society at its usual at best.
No, it is an old man with little talent being taught to mask that. It is not impressive or "beautiful" in any way. The only people who would suggest that any of the trash on Strictly Come Dancing is "beautiful" are the people who have never been to a ballet or watched competition ball room
Have you cheered up yet you miserable bastard?
