My hubby was hanging out as I watched one of your previous videos from last year when you mentioned spraying your Chanel No. 5 before bed. I’d made a comment about always using mine so sparingly and wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do that. So Christmas time comes around and my sweet husband remembered what I said and to my surprise he gave me a second bottle so that I would feel better about using it before bed. ❤️❤️

I'm 56 & I remember my mom ironing her bed linens in the summer. Their bed always looked so cool & crisp. She'd let me practice ironing so I would iron my pillow cases & they were just Heavenly. I really should start treating myself again! And I definitely can't live w/o my coconut spray on my linens. Reminds me of home & the beach💖

I iron my sheets when I first put them on. Then everyday when I make my bed I do something I learned from a hotel u tube site. lightly spray your sheets with water from a spray bottle then you pull the sheets from the top and the side at the same time. Your pulling in two directions. Then you spray your pillow and just hold it up and the weight of the pillow pulls the wrinkles out. Takes an extra couple of minutes but makes the bed look amazing!!!!!

I'm not into ironing sheets, but I do immediately take my sheets from the dryer and make my bed. I have a wonderful aunt who taught me how to get a perfectly made bed with how sheets are done on a bed at luxurious hotels. It really makes a difference to me how the bed looks and feels to me.
I am so happy that I found this channel. The two of you are a delight to watch, so I certainly hope you do more videos together.... It's amazing to see a couple that's been married for 21 years act like they are still madly in love. You are both so blessed...

I revamped my bedroom a few months ago and now its light, airy and minimal. I started by switching out my heavy oversized bed and changed the color palette to a more Scandinavian feel. I love to spray linen spray on my sheets. And I added plants which really made a difference.

Just love all your ideas especially when I already do what you suggest. I always iron my sheets. Use french lavender spray, use only two scatter pillows, no karate chop, and a green plant. No clutter! Live you guys so much!

It’s really amazing how sight, smell, and sound make a home feel completely different. I personally enjoy Jazz in my home, my style is really similar to yours and although I don’t have a fireplace I like to play a modern fireplace on the TV for that extra luxury experience. Treat yo self.

Hi Valentina & Jack - Tip No 2 - Iron your sheets - I have always ironed everything, including all our sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers etc and it makes for a great night's sleep! I also use a gently scented ironing water in my steam iron, so the bedroom smells divine too when the bed is freshly made - worth the effort, i agree with you x
My grandmother always ironed her sheets and the bed felt so amazing when you got into it for the night!

Love your videos! This is one of my favorites, the charisma between you two is a treat to watch... I create my own home signature fragrances with high quality essential oils to create my own blend and then I use a carrier, usually 100 proof vodka because I find it carries the oils through the types of perfumery atomizers that I prefer, but there are tons of options. These are all great ideas! I love your style. I like to call it dramatic minimalist which I tend to identify most times with myself. Creating enough space for our spirit and our humanity to flow into the space around us whilst still showing our personality. The thought that Jack had about shadow was spot on... like a light bulb in my head... creating the mood with shadow is just as important as light. Thanks for the great content!!

Ironed sheets and pillowcases are real luxury. It’s much easier and faster with a rotary iron (Miele is my favorite brand - not free, but really worth it.)

Also, I only buy white towels, and i LOVE white cotton percale sheets, and vintage White Milk Glass. Minimal. fresh. crisp.

Camille Boyd, I love percale sheets in the summer, because they are crisp and cool. But in the winter, I prefer sateen: so soft and cozy!

I don’t even want to iron my clothes let alone my sheets. I recently invested in two sets of Belgium linen sheets. Best investment ever! It’s definitely sprezzatura elegance.

It's really nice to have several sets of extra pillowcases so you can easily switch them for a quick and easy way to freshen the room. I love ironed sheets! My grandma always had wonderful cotton sheets, she washed and hung in the sun, and ironed every week. It was glorious! I did iron my pillowcases about 12 years ago, cuz my man was out of town and I had time😂 Love your videos, don’t comment, cuz I agree with everything! Especially dark paint in small rooms. High gloss black bathrooms with chandeliers make my heart putter pat!
