- ROUSSILLON- a beautiful old village of Provence, just 39 km southeast of Avignon, located on a cliff with fantastic natural landscapes of work! In addition to the completely unique ocher canyons located directly next to Roussillon, where ocher was once mined, the city is known for its Provencal-style houses built in the period of the 17th and 18th centuries.
You can walk along the ocher canyons on foot: the road takes 30-60 minutes, depending on the route.It's like walking on Mars!
