So I just got to this episode, as I am going through Off The Ranch chronologically, and I noticed what I think is the mansion. Could be wrong. Sure looks like the property though
Mud guards of some kind and a full size windshield on the roll cage are a must. Maybe make the windshield fold down? Like on old Jeeps and side by sides.
hi matt in this video time 2:24 your drone is flying over the house you are moving into and it is a long time before you are considering moving. i found it because i'm watching all your videos from the beginning
definitely going to need to get some static mounted fenders on the front tires cause depending on the turn, those tires are going throw debris at the driver and passenger relentlessly.
@@ricknicholson539 I don't think you're taking in to account of the angle at the backside of the front tires in reference to assessing positions. At certain points in steering angles, they're literally pointed directly at the driver or passenger.
@@captaincouldverc yes but window nets will stop most of the larger stuff. Water and mud gets in everywhere while off roading. I just think unless fenders are pretty far away from fenders you'll fight clogging and that far away isn't feasible in static position.
You asked so ....beefer tires, at least in the rear. A stronger roll cage. A little higher off the ground. Fuller windscreen. And cup holders for sure!
If I were building it for myself, I'd put a 2" receiver hitch on the front and back and mount the winch to a receiver plate so it can be used on either end. With that low of a clearance, it is going to get high centered and bottomed out in mud often. Snatch hooks and multi-direction retrieval options help you and lets you help others. A light in the back is always helpful. A mud flap/fender system that can be removed if desired would be awesome. I've never been afraid to get muddy, but I also like to see when I'm plowing through it.
@@johnokamoto6762 Yeah, like when he mentioned that the floorpan was getting dented yeah thickening the pan would help but it'll still scratch it, and then rust would be an issue, maybe put bigger wheels, just do something to raise the hight maybe a few inches.
3 things-- 1) Windscreen going up high enough to meet the roll cage... And.. . B) A clip-on fiberglass top for the cabin for a little more protection from mud- and possibly rocks- being slung up & over and to also provide some coverage from rain, because I love taking my truck out after the rains, occasionally leading to me catching spots of leftover showers during my muddy sliding donut slingfests And Z) The small guards that mount over your front wheels to keep most of the rocks and mud from being flung overhead into the cabin
4wd,more lights, chunkier tires, little more lift, full wind shield, diff lockers, fenders, snap on hard top, subaru boxer moter ,turbo of some kind blue powder coat
Fox racing shocks, cargo basket in rear section, turbo, spare tire mount, few ammo can mounts for storage, onboard cooler. Few ideas to incorporate. Cheers have a great one.
It doesn't have windshield wipers so when it gets mud or silt on the window you won't be able to see at all.if it going to actually be offroaded the windshield should be removed.
Upgrades: Supercharger (or small block v8), skid plates, optional full windshield, removable fenders, shield around alternator, beefier tires, maybe a little bit more of a lift. Oh and a manual transmission!!! That thing is going to be way more fun with a manual.
4wd, full roof to protect from elements, full windshield, fire extinguisher, fenders, spare tire, place to put cooler, tools, emergency equipment (first aid).
I think he'd go back to the professionals for that one. just look at how his go-cart went after ONE DAY. He couldn't make that work without those guys.
Wider, more aggressive tires, taller windscreen, not automatic, beefier suspension(front and rear), thicker floor pans, skid plates, and a removable roof plate, a rear facing high mount seat and you got the PUBG buggy!
Soft top, mud guards, a better windshield, a Limited slip differential and then the handbrake could operate on both wheels at the same time instead of only one. Aaaaaaaand a turbocharged engine with manual transmission, obviously. I guess this is enough.
@@BoostedYote for the kind of offroading this would be doing, a manual is fine. This isnt a rock crawler or something to take mudding. Think of it as more like a rally car when they say offroad.
And also, as said: this buggy isn't going to do exreme rock crawling, it'll be doing some inertia off-roading, I don't know if it has a name in English. It's the same kind of off-roading I do in my first series 1.1litre Fiat Panda (750kg, around 1500lbs): can't get on the top of a ultra steep hill, take a run-up and with good throttle technique it will make it just fine (this works also on mud or other scenarios *in some cases*. If you get stuck IT'S WINCH TIME)
there should be a removable roof or cover on the top of the roll cage so dirt and rocks don't fly into seats. Also, I think the camo pattern should be the same but just with snow camo colors, like white, gray, and black.
Put a full windshield on and a detachebel roof
That would be cool
I agree
thats what i was going to say adding mudflaps
I was thinking a removable bikini top would be perfect. Could just fold it up and store in in the car.
detachable* but technically the correct word is "removable"
Watching in 2020. How about camo color? Did I see the abandoned mansion in the drone footage at the beginning?
Uhm... so @9:37 ... what is the new Bumper and bush bar for ? New Goblin is super cool !!
Good eye.
probably for the Bronco
SAT_Ryder peeking in the closet again!!! LOL good eye
I was going to ask that as well.
Looks like lunkers bummer, but it’s painted green and his is black.
Looks like a knock off ranch hand.
Is that the abandoned mansion at 2:35?
Put some easily detachable fenders on the front wheels (so you don't get mud thrown at you).
Just what I was thinking
I was thinking more like the karts with ones all the way around
And a full windshield
Just what I was going to write until I saw your comment, my Joyner has the removable mud guards as has my Quadzilla 500R buggy.
Fenders are a must if your slinging dirt.
Anyone else spot the glimpse of the mansion!!!
So I just got to this episode, as I am going through Off The Ranch chronologically, and I noticed what I think is the mansion. Could be wrong. Sure looks like the property though
At the end of the Goblin intro mix is the abandoned mansion he bought... hahaha... foreshadowing
2:36 the abandoned mansion
I was wondering if all of your drone footage ever captured it before you bought it.
Bigger windshield, rain safe
Hosea Patterson Yeah... Especially since the roll cage is already there.
I was going to say that
Chrome or black with blue flames
Make the windshield all the way to the top of the roll cage.
And a roof in case it rains
@@jackdoesnerf8584 Or at least the option to dry in the cab.
And mud guards for the tires like he has on the go-cart's
Mud guards of some kind and a full size windshield on the roll cage are a must. Maybe make the windshield fold down? Like on old Jeeps and side by sides.
I actually just typed up a multi suggestion with that window design in it.
All wranglers fold down. It’s just become more of a pain in that ass on the newer models
Yeah full windshield is a must and it's only plexi glass so it's not hard to do it. I also agree with some sort of mud guards.
hi matt in this video time 2:24 your drone is flying over the house you are moving into and it is a long time before you are considering moving. i found it because i'm watching all your videos from the beginning
only things I would recommend would be fully size windscreen and a fibre glass roof
It would keep the mud outside!
Is danger Dave going to test the roll cage?
kore996 yeah that’s his extra large go kart
I want to see that
100% this
Well, that IS his specialty, so...
You mean Danjer Dave? :p
definitely going to need to get some static mounted fenders on the front tires cause depending on the turn, those tires are going throw debris at the driver and passenger relentlessly.
Yes. Some quick disconnect fenders.
Just a full windshield would work. Should wear full helmet while offroading anyway...kinda personal preference, just my opinion from experience.

Maybe some windshield flares might work. It is going to be a problem needing addressed though.
Haha did I see a sneak peak at the mansion??
Skid plate on the front and rear, thicker stronger control arms and tie rods, longer travel suspension, and a better guard or cover for the winch.
Yeah, that front cross member under the winch needs covered! Skidplate the whole thing.
I would prefer a full windshield that goes up to the light bar.
Most definitely
I just came here to say that and it was top comment
Same bro and wrap it in an American flag
Apostolic life My life hey, I’m an Apostolic from Arkansas.
@@malonecustomdesigns really that is great I am in Oklahoma. Who is your pastor????
You should make demo ranch ammo cans
Joshua Byer it would be expensive to ship
He should build a gunshop so we can see some class 3 action
he should make more vet ranch vids
Or stencils for ammo cans
Just buy one of his decal stickers and put it on your own ammo cans
9:00 should be saying "for climbing obstacles when one wheel doesn't have traction so you just lock it up"
A full windshield would be a must for me. And I would stick something on the roof as well.
Thinking the same thing
Canvas cover for the roof, definitely!
Careful it will be pink soon
Need to wrap it Pepto pink for the winner
Definitely pink. "Mere knows everything" across the hood.
Full windshield, floating fenders over the tires, detachable roof.
Just realized you had the mansion in this video way before you made it your dream home project
A soft top like a Jeep for light rain or mud protection
Chris Romero Yeah even just a snap on top for the very top part
Great idea, and mud guards for the tires like he has on the go-carts
This is what I was going to suggest. I'm glad I looked before I commented
You asked so ....beefer tires, at least in the rear. A stronger roll cage. A little higher off the ground. Fuller windscreen. And cup holders for sure!
It needs fenders a full height windshield and a roof
14:50 MORE HORSEPOWER!!!
More suspension travel. A couple of inches higher?
You should bring your goblin to cleetus McFarlands event down in Houston in February and race it at the track!
Yes! Matt and the Bartle Skeet team doing full pulls!

Bring one to hoonigan

More ground clearance, better windscreen, more lights, a fully enclosed cab option soft top/hardtop
I think the ground clearance looked a little low too, at least for some of the forest roads around here

Locking diff and skid plates under the nerf bars.
That’s exactly what I was thinking 👍

I would put a 4WD in it.
Nice LSD would be a enough...
4wd is not good for high speed, awd would be the best
Put it on an s10 frame

1. X brace in the top of the roll cage
2. Full plexi glass windshield to fill the opening on the roll cage
3. Metal skin roof

When is Danger Dave going to test the roll cage
I would recommend giving it some degree of a roof that you can take off if you want for rain and snow with a taller windshield with wipers
Full windshield+wipers, roof, wheel arches, turbo, slightly bigger lift, chunkier tyres.
Make an x brace on the roll cage in the roof
@SAMUEL HESTER Why would you want to _grate_ his idea? He had a _great_ idea, but all you want to do is _grate_ it.
Skid plates to protect the undercarriage.
Needs to be a manual. It's basically a rally car so you need to be able to pick your gear in corners. And an e-locker if the rear isn't already locked
Black grey and white camo and more spring travel
I think it needs a nicer windshield and like some sort of roof
Bring the windshield to the top of roll cage
I think you should do the same color as your goblin but change the eagle to your new and updated one!!!!

General Disorder or a TOW missile

pssh the shocks will be the limit straps !... Haha
As long as the CV joints max angles arent exceeded there shouldnt be an issue
Extra tire on the back of the roll cage
turbo and 4x4
A spare tire on the back of the roll cage would look pretty sick and be super functional.
Lift it a few more inches
A LOT more inches!
tweak the rollbar to follow the windshield and put a roof on top so you actually dont get crap falling on the head

You have to sign it
Manual transmission, turbocharged and 4wd with a locking diff
So a totally different build?
Sort of
Plus a roof and more panels on the side of the engine, and too finish a dark cammo!
