♻️Happy gardening to all my viewers and subscribers.
Lovely fruit harvest! No Christmas potatoes in Canada. I’m growing my potatoes in 35L pots, the medium is Promix. I add a half strength liquid feed each week. The N-P-K ratio in the fertilizer is 3-1-2, the ratio that most plants take up their nutrients in.
Klaus
@WhatWeDoChannel thank you my friend's for sharing your knowledge and experiences.
Im going to plant my Christmas spuds this week. Give Mrs K my very best wishes.
@@TheEnglishladyskitchengarden thank you.
Interested to see the comfrey wrapping outcome.
@mg8642 me too my friend.
👍👍👍
@@cw2126 👍❤️❤️👍
Hi Terry, sorry I havent had time to watch the rest of your videos! Been so busy at my allotment. Lovely fruit harvest! I hope Mrs K is doing well and you are getting enough rest too. Busy time of year for us gardeners. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Nice worries Christine, always a pleasure to have a comment from you when you have time.
Nice one Terry.😁👍🙏💪👌🥔❤️
@@nickthegardener.1120 cheers Nick.
I put some Charlottes in about 3 weeks ago, they look to be doing ok.
@@FreeYourMindArt had too much on my mind to do successional planting of potatoes this season, but all my potatoes seem to be doing well, still watering them even though we are getting regular rain fall.
You have inspired me Terry.... Gonna throw in the spuds in the brasicca tent this week.... 👍🇬🇧 Ya never know 🎉
@@thelittlefarmersfarm5706 can't beat fresh on Christmas day, that soil smell you get.
Always worth a try Terry
@@sowgroweat6987 you don't know if you don't try Mike.
God Bless to you and Mrs.K ❤
@@peggyhelblingsgardenwhatyo7920 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh that is a timely reminder for the Potatoes .... where has this year gone! Lovely fruit harvest there Terry
@sowgroweat6987 I noticed that the potatoes were starting to grow again so hopefully they will and I get something on Christmas Day.
Wow that soft fruit harvest looks yummy. 💖💖👍👍
@BobMelsimpleliving. running out of space in my freezer Bob........🤣.
What a clever idea, Terry, wrapping in comfrey leaves 🍃
Major haul of fruit 👌
❤Peggy❤
@@peggyhelblingsgardenwhatyo7920 got a dicky tummy with all this fruit........🤣
Oh glad your trying the comfrey as suggested 👍, looking forward to forward to whether or not I’ve lead you down the garden path 😂. Nice of you to share your fruit harvest with Mrs K 😋. Hope she’s better today and even more so tomorrow ❤, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦
@myrustygarden I will always try new things Ali and hopefully they do well.
I've just this moment finished making red gooseberry jelly. 😇
@ireneconstant913 sounds nice Irene.
It will be interesting to see if the comfrey leaves improve the yield
@BeFree-BeFrugal we can only try these ideas and hopefully we will be able to tell the difference.
Ooh, comfrey wraps are a clever idea, Terry. It's also a good way to take care of all the excess comfrey leaves. I've got loads of both comfrey and borage at the moment. Now you've got me thinking...🤔🤔
~ Sandra
@@NanasWorms we can only try these things and hopefully a nice crop on Christmas day.
Great content as always Terry. Really interested to see if there's any difference between the comfry wrapped spuds.... Could be a game changer. Nice fruit harvest too 😊
@@GardenerGray hopefully they don't rot, but we have to try these new ideas.
Hi Terry. Christmas potatoes. I can't get over that. It is so nice to grow them for Christmas. I wish I could grow some too, but I can't, so I look forward to your harvest. I am curious about the comfrey leaves. Take care
@karenandriancontainergardening I do like to try new ideas and hopefully the weather will be kind and they grow enough for a good meal.
Thanks Terry 🥔🥔👍👍👍
@michaelsplot thank you Michael.
No gardening after October here outside.
Had first snow on Halloween last year.
I rely on micro greens inside to get my gardening fix at that point,
@RobinGardens we all have to adapt to our own environmental conditions and yes getting our gardening fix over the cooler months is key to being happy gardener's.
Nice harvest there Terry :)
@@leewozzashomeveggiegarden cheers Lee.
Quality content once again. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@jmawdsley2 thank you my friend.
Lovley harvest mate I'm stil planting potatoes
@@CoastalGardensNW successional planting is key to getting potatoes all year around Duncan.
@@terrykingsallotmentgardening definatly mate Ive been starting in small pots and re planting when ever I can
@@CoastalGardensNW 👍❤️❤️👍
Lovely harvest of soft fruit Terry, those raspberries look like they've been either dusted with sugar or frozen, they are an odd colour aren't they? Sorry I haven't popped by for a while, hope Mrs K is doing better, I'm guessing she likes her tinned fish then 😊 No Christmas potatoes for me this year, they never do very well so I'm just saving some first early pots and will use them as and when needed. Take care 😊
@bethanskitchengarden I have too many summer fruiting Raspberries so the outside ones will be going, but they are so nice in puddings as they do crush easily after picking. Hopefully she isn't pregnant having these eating habits.......🤦🤷♀️😟😁
Keep us posted on the rocket, hope they give you lovely spuds
@@RawLondonGardener the reveal on Christmas day will hopefully be good.
Great crop of fruits terry keep that weight going up 😅, I tried my potatos in the polly tunnel this year ,absolutely shocking harvest I got less than I put in 😂😂 o well the joys of gardening haha
@nidge2822 the seasons are changing and we need to adapt our growing methods to suit.
Nice haul Tel, good show
@@glassbackdiy3949 cheers Pete.
I have never heard about wrapping seed potatoes in comfrey leaves🤔. I have just planted 8 supermarket potatoes that had sprouted in the ground, I hope they survive the blight 🤞🤞🤞. It just won’t stop raining in Scarborough😢
I bought a bag of supermarket spuds to grow for Christmas.
@@TheEnglishladyskitchengarden considering the same here
@@izzywizzy2361 keeping our Christmas potatoes safe away from our tomatoes and potatoes in case of Blight is key to a good harvest and being able to move them into a frost free place as the cooler months approach.
I've given up with growing spuds for Christmas. I can never resist eating them early and I'd rather have them roasted LOL
@DigwellGreenfingers hopefully I haven't done too many potatoes this season, but fresh Xmas potatoes is a must for us.
Interesting technique. I've never come across that one. I haven't seen hoof and horn for sale in a long while. Was it an internet acquisition? ...Jim
@jimstormcrow our allotment shop sells it Jim, provides food for a long time for our plants.
Terry, will the fruit continue to sweeten up after picked?
@babetteisinthegarden6920 it normally doesn't last long enough to sweeten up Babette, but yes even in the fridge they do mature.
👍👍💮🥀🌻
@@anjkovo2138 👍❤️❤️👍
Terry this does seem a bit early for Christmas spuds.
@@johnking-ht5ez with the weather we are having John, we need to get them in a little bit earlier.
