Hey Containerman2, great video! That is quiet a large vessel. I have a random question for you. It's not related to this video, but I didn't know where else to ask you. Anyway, I know in the past you went shipspotting at Verrazano Narrows in New York. I am planning to do that sometime, so my question is, where exactly did you go to film/watch the vessels from? Is it like a park or something? Wherever it is, it definitely looks like a good spot to watch them from. Also, how many vessels on average would you say went through there per day? I know it always changes and there is no way to know for sure, but how many did you see a day on average? Just wondering. Thanks in advance. Again, great video.
Yes there is a park on the Brooklyn side of New York where you can see the ships passing under the bridge. If you check google maps you should be able to find it. As for the number of ships, I think probably about 5-10 a day. Early morning seems to be when most of the ships pass by, esp. inbound container ships.
I was before 10 years on old zim ships. It was very good. Is this ship owned by zim or in charter? Can somebody tell how many ships today are owned and operated by zim.
COULD YOU GET CLOSER TO THE BOW AND THE COMMAND BRIDGE, PLEASE
WOW!
