    Hi Saulo, I'm a Brazilian, exclusively, MTT player at ABI $100 and I can't put in words the wonders your content did to my game. I've always enjoyed following cash-game players and theoretical stuff, however in your vids besides getting that, I can really translate exploits into my format/pool, using most of the MDA insight. The timing tells vid and the play&explain going thru your thought process is crazy good content. I don't think ppl appreciate it enough. Cheers!

At 4:40 i have a question: we should play more hands vs bad players, but at the video about how to play vs maniacs you showed us that at the sb we open like 40% less hands vs these kind of players. My question is, in position i should play less hands too vs these kind of players? And if i play, range betting small size is a bad thing? I really dont know if range betting vs a oponnent who is playing like 60% vpip is a great or bad thing

    Also snapbets being more bluffed than tankbets (Because when they tank fish think "what do I target -> what do I size so my opponent calls me")

    You say the games are beatable and proceed to show some graph of students (that probably have access to the best knowledge there is) where they make ~2.8bb/100 at 25NL, that's actually supremely depressing tbh :(

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  6 місяців тому +2

      Its possible to make way more. It's just that at the point you are capable of making more than that, you should simply move up. So the only way to see a crushing 5bb+ graph at 25nl with a decent sample is to find someone who was good enough to beat higher stakes but chose not to. You're likely never going to find such thing, because people are doing the rational thing to do - to move up before building a large sample at the current stake.
      In my staking business, we move people up as soon as we identify any signs that they are good enough to beat the next limit, as this is the most profitable thing to do for both parties. So most of the sample on lower stakes will be from people who didn't show such signs and had to keep grinding that limit - so there is a selection bias in the sample towards the low performing individuals.
      Maybe you expect even an average grinder to pull off more than 3bb, but with current rake at micro and low stakes, I don't think that's reasonable. I get that it was like that at some point in the past, where you could just play tight and print money, but yeah those times are long gone
