    I just got this done. The doctor cleansed my face first, followed with anaesthetic so I won't feel the pain. Just to be honest with anyone who is looking to have a subsicion done for deep acne scarring, it may be a bit brutal/uncomfortable if you're not used to having any minor surgeries done to your face. However the result is amazing. I already see a huge improvement in my skin this is better than skin needling. Going for a second treatment next month 😊 Very happy customer

      @@leidifarias Downtime and recovery was very minimal. I went to work the next day. However, I've heard for some people maybe a week. It's different for everyone. The doctor who performed the subsicion for me injected my face 3 times on the left side and 3 on the right so you'll have a few red dots on your face for a few days but it didn't bother me much

      @@jasonculili566 Pain level is low. Given the fact that they'll inject your face with anaesthetic first. It's just a bit uncomfortable, you can feel the needle moving around, in and out your face lol. But the results are amazing, well for me. My next appointment will be another subsicion + fillers. Fillers don't last forever but I've heard they can potentially cause a long term/permanent smoothing effect on your post acne scars

    Does it matter which tool you use and which provider/doctor does the subcision? If so, which doctor in the US do you recommend-also you recommend any other surgical corrective treatment for severe/significant acne scars on cheeks/temples other than subscision?

    • @Drsomjiskin
      @Drsomjiskin  4 місяці тому

      @@ishveenaduggal9463 this is debatable amongst every clinician. I prefer the use of blunt cannula for subcision under ultrasound guidance. For deeper ice pick scars I sometimes recommend surgical reconstruction such as excision but this is dependent on patient assessment. What are the benefits of doind ablative laser right after the subsicion? Would you recomend hyperdiluted radiesse after subsicion?

      @@onedayapp3534 the main benefit is that the area is already anaesthetised and the ablative laser treatment will be relatively painless. It’s helpful to do at the same time as you can take advantage of enhanced wound healing with a combination treatment. After 3 months now the scar has filled up but the part which was injured/skin broken has left its own scar in the area and it's still red.
