I know it's a long time since you made this comment, but just in case you put the game down, or for anyone else struggling, there are enough time boosts at the end (and the finish line doesn't chase you like on the solo trial so you don't have to rush) for you to literally walk the whole way through the full trial, taking your time with moving platforms, never double jumping, and still get gold.
I just beat it and all I have to say is don’t give up, eventually you’ll just breeze through the first 5 stages then once you reach crabs is when I recommend locking in. Also another thing is to honestly once you get to crabs just take it easy and take your time a bit. There’s so many clocks at the end that it takes off almost 2 mins. I once almost died at 10:22 exactly. I accidentally jumped and almost fell to my doom, my heart actually got from 80 bps to 148 bps in a second. Luckily i saved myself by doing some weird trick lol

You will get it. Don't try for gold, just do it slow until you figure out what path works best. After that, speed it up, you will get it. Took me just as long go get it
Just got this trophy thanks to all of these guides and it honestly surprised me how much time I had left when I finished. Doing this trial, I hated the You Jelly, Fish and Slips and Ready Set Spike parts, it was honestly more harder than acing the other Little Big Planet games.
The hard part about this level is patience. Having to start from the beginning is tough. I'm still trying but I had to take a break since I missed a jump in the last part LOL. Update: I finally made it to the end!
Finally got this one! What helped me out was playing the trials separately (from the crab and jelly levels onwards) to get in the flow and then ‘stringing them together’. One of the harder trophies I got, don’t know why some sites rate this difficulty a 4 to 6 out of 10 lol
@@TripTenGaming I didn’t realise how much time I was going to have left😂. I was always trying to get the perfect run. As a result it took me 3 days (with work in between) to complete this. The first half I got so used to doing it over and over, I practically went onto autopilot😂
I have a question… do you get anything from this besides gold? I saw somebody we a knitted trials staff thing that had the square and idk if you get that once you beat it…
My best run so far is getting to the turret trial in about 5 mins 15 secs or so, after 4 hours of attempts. My fingers hurt. But I'm 3/4 of the way there. Just gotta keep going and I know I can do it! I'm just dreading the cactus trial...
That's around ny time, 5h later I'm still not done, what sucks is I reached the end obstacle on my 10th attempt, but since then the few times I reach it I die because of stupid mistakes

Nice one! Assassin's Creed is such a beautiful game eh! The vistas and nature that they have designed is truly remarkable. It really rewards you for exploring which is a lot of fun. Too many games too little time. Enjoy!

@@TripTenGaming Same here when it comes to exploring. Actually after you arrive in the new village which is super early on in the game, pretty much one of the first missions. I had some task which I did but then I saw those sparkly things that have iron in them, an Iron mound or whatever haha. Then saw another in the distance, then another. Then from there I just started exploring the entire map without going back. I'm unlocking all the sync spots and all the mysteries and treasures. It all happened so organically and there's always something new like a new tomb to explore or new weird quirky mission or some badass enemy to work up to fighting. So far it hasn't got stale. Planning to get back to the story, after exploring the entire map haha. Are you streaming on Twitch?

Also, I risked a lot by trying to speed through this and grab as many clocks as I could not realizing you can beat it under 10min by taking your time....smh lol
Just take your time. You can literally walk through the entire thing and still get a gold; Just make sure you collect all the clocks at the end and you’ll be fine.
I’ve legit tried this trophy probably over 50 times now and I can’t seem to get past the fuckin stupid ass crabs, this shit is legit driving me insane, I don’t want to give up on this trophy, but it’s really hard not to when you die over and over in practically the same exact spot
Dont give up! Trust me when i say this, you can go much slower than you might think and still get gold.. and after the first time you beat it, if it's not gold, you will at least know how to beat it.. keep trying, but dont try to go fast.

Never in my life have I ever screamed, Goddamnit, the Crabs dressed as the Village people got me again, so many times. easily the worst part of the game. and thats coming from someone who 100% the game with a controller, and using keyboard+mouse for second player achievements and levels. took me exactly 36.4 hours according to steam, and some of that time was pausing the game to take a break. still, i really enjoyed this game. all its problems aside

Agreed. After completing it, you realize rushing isnt the answer and that the time bonuses throughout are not mandatory.

Try to practice the spikes level alone till you get it repeatedly without losing a life. Otherwise your learning curve will be really slow.. 😅
Spike before drop > right then take the route on the right and you'll be very safe to finish it
