Ok, ok... the Dolomites are moving higher and higher up my list!.. epic roads through epic landscapes. But that hike was scary 😬

Hmmm, best not to hike the Dolomite’s before June 15 because of avalanche hazard. As the angle of the sun shifts, the avalanche hazard moves to different slopes.
Well the scenery just gets better and better, we must have a look at the domomites, another month and most of the snow should be gone. You must get trek sticks you are scaring me to bits even with the standing grab wires is tricky. Fantastic video, cheers Mike 🍷🍷👍👍

I had never realized that the Dolomites were composed, at least in part of such great monoliths. I think the name attracted me back in the 1970s when my Dad drove a Triumph Dolomite, but I’ve still never been to see them. Thank you for bringing them to me. My word Izzy you did well on that narrow ledge with the steep drop and avalanches coming down like waterfalls. Love the way Tom was so grateful for his marmite sandwich at the top of the walk, even though he fancied chips n beer 😅
I’ve literally researched composting toilets and Trellino was the toilet that’s on my list for my van upgrade! Because I want to sit more! Haha

Grounding is faulty as well. Run a new ground from the negative to a nice clean part of the van ~ no rust etc. Do that as a routine for that age of Ford.

The alpine part of Austria is Tirol. After WW II, part of Tirol was annexed by Italy. Now known as Süd Tirol and a predominantly German speaking region.

Hi Tom and Izzy, long time subscriber. Make sure that where the earth strap from the battery bolts onto the body is on bare metal and free of rust. Clean the body with a wire brush, this may help.
My family and I are spending 2 nights in the Dolomites on our trip from Dubrovnik to Milan in August.
Somebody already said it, check all the earths/grounds as they've got crusty with standing. I liked Iz manically laughing as Tom nearly plummets to his doom 😂 great vlog 👍

Absolutely knocking it out the park with the production on this one, some great camera work, but don't think we won't notice if you try to recycle that coffee pot clip!
Slightly concerned by the lack of winter walking kit. You usually will get away with it, but if you mess up your timings so you lose the sunlight & it refreezes it can get a lot more serious very quickly.
Loving the new van trip. I would be so frightened of getting lost on kne of those hikes 😂😂😂. Van lost forever😅

I'm an old fart, yeah, but I would need micro spikes on my shoes and potentially an ice axe to go hiking in those mountains with that much snow. All good, though. The mountains are incredible. I don't think there is anything quite like them in North America. The Sierras come close, but even they are not quite as spikey as the Dolomites. They are very beautiful.

It is SO dangerous to hike on that type of terrain without the proper equipment and clothing, never mind the avalanche risk!
