Da muss man schöne sehr genau wissen was man tut. Alles Gute!
@Roland Great fix, I will keep that in mind should I need it. I have a hybrid 5kw axpert type inverter.(5star) which is still running fine for a year. Would love to know where I may find a schematic diagram, all I could find was a repair manual which does not show schematic diagram. Would like to keep the schematic for future reference.
Schematics would be very helpful at repairs indeed. Unfortunately they do not circulate in the public. Only the manufacturer could help you with that. We need to stick to basic fault finding procedures :(
Yup, the 470uF/35V replacement (for this one I need to order a 1000uF for next time) I got from an donor TV power supply board, and the 1000uF/25V replacement I had some from an order a few years ago. You can always go a step higher in voltage rating, but it might get you into a space restriction as higher voltage mostly means bigger. I do have a source for electronic components in Thailand, but if you need to order something first, it will of course cause equipment down-time. Like this, the inverter was back up running just a few hours later.
Hi Roland, nice video, thanks for sharing...I have a Must PV-1800 3kw hybrid....we are off-grid and use a gas generator connected to the grid input side, my generator 220 AC output controller went bad and over charged my Must inverter...now when I switch on grid input it trips the breaker switch between the inverter and generator...what should I look at first? Can you give me some troubleshooting steps to follow?
Hi. You should find the AC charging circuit inside your inverter or on the main Power Board. So it can be as well a separate part inside the box. There you would have to probe the board for shorts. If you have suffered from an over-voltage situation caused by the generator, maybe a capacitor could have blown or a transistor there has shorted. In general, look for some signs of smoke, shorts where they shouldn't be, etc Hope you get lucky :) Maybe this video, or at least the videos in this channel can help you out: ua-cam.com/video/mqTXtA_Ta6M/v-deo.htmlsi=Uopw4aNk5bBltC0Z
Hello, 3000 watt full sinus inverter fault light is on. When the inverter is turned on, a relay tripping sound is heard, then the fault light is on, what do you think could be the problem?
Hi Mr. Roland, I have a Must 48V, 5KW hybrid inverter that was working fine, and I install a DC battery breaker and just then it started giving me a fault code of 21 which means “inverter output voltage sensor error” please how can I fixed that problem
Hi. How old is the inverter and what is your climate? That error is unrelated to the DC side but I think that the inverter just didn't like the startup. Maybe some capacitor blew up. I can only recommend you to open it up, thoroughly clean the board and look out for any obvious component damage like black smoke markings, bulged electrolytic capacitors, etc From here it is hard to say what happened. Do you have a MUST service center in your country? Or write to their technical support in China...
You have a DC leakage into the AC side. Did you bond your DC side somehow to the AC side like connecting Battery or PV minus to Ground while you as well have AC Grounded? Or did this error just occur after running the inverter already for some time successfully? It might be a bigger issue with a faulty power board...
@Roland W : Roland please, what is Your overall experience with MUST and their PV1800 Series (VPM version) . I am considering to buy PV18-3024 VPM (3kw) as my first PV system . Is it good option ? Did You had more issues ?
Must was always the equivalent to MppSolar on mainland China. Higher quality then orher chinese brands and also more expensive. My inverter runs 24/7 for 5 years. The repair i did was the first on the device and that time the inverter was still running. I would buy it again without hesitation.
hi, I have a problem with a pv18-5248. I,m trying repair, but some zener exploted. Can you send me the service manual? or can you give me the diode code of this main board (zd1-2-7-8, botton side near optocupler) thanks
Hi. I do not have a service manual or any schematics. I will have to open my inverter to take a look. I need to replace a capacitor on my device anyways. Can you send me a Foto of the area where exactly the diode is? use the e-mail address in my channel info. thanks

Hello...sir I have an inverter which has fluctuating DC output...like its 5 KW inverter but it works fine till 3 kw after that the voltage n power of DC out put start to fluctuate between 2.1 to 3 kw...once I reset it works fine for 5 min n then again fluctuations start...any suggestions
What do you mean with DC output? DC is the source of the power. Its the input. And how can power fluctuate? Power is result of load. Do you mean AC? The Voltage fluctuating?
If you really mean the DC side, is it a similar inverter to this one? An all in one solar hybrid inverter? If you see the solar DC input Voltage and the solar power fluctuating, I would say it is the MPPT charge controller. It is the board in the upper part of the inverter with the many big capacitors and coils on it. Give that one a thorough visual inspection. See if you can spot some burn marks or blown components on it...
@@RolandW_DIYEnergyandMore load is constant as its connected to grid for reverse metering...so any load shouldn't bother it ...its working on max capacity
Your Inverter is 24V, right? You need to set your "Floating charging voltage" a bit lower then the "Bulk charging voltage" to avoid that situation. Example: BCV 29V, FCV 28,5V Because if you reach the BCV under load, and load is removed, Voltage will go over Inverter Max voltage

Lucky you spotted it the capacitors swollen, even luckier you had some spares the right volts.
