Hello again, Charlotte! I just wanted to let you know how much I am loving the way your classroom is coming together. I have a few questions. Where did you get the science rug, and your cart with tub (with the extra school supplies)? Do you have a video on how you do your science notebooks using generation genius science? If not, is there a way you can explain it to me. I would love to hear the answers to these questions. I'm a science teacher, too. I will be starting school next week. Thanks!! I'm trying to get back on a normal schedule too. I start my new job Tuesday. The teachers don't go back until the 7th so I'm hoping it's a chill week. The kids go back on the 16th. My bedtime has been around 5am and I've been waking up close to noon 😂 I've tried getting up a little earlier to hopefully get me to bed earlier but my body is so used to that bedtime that it just doesn't change hahaha. My other problem is the naps I take. I try to avoid it now but it's so hard 😂😂
Practice lateral thinking. This involves thinking about a problem in a more creative and unorthodox manner rather than using traditional logic.
I feel like you’re right about the silent teacher with the bulletin boards. But I know for myself personally that I enjoy them and study items on the walls a lot. But I feel like I see things a little differently cause I’m a visual learner and also interior design oriented. Because I studied design, I tend to concentrate on the little details that others don’t care about. 😂
I miss standards based grading. I just moved to Florida and even K-2 is on the letter grading scale.
Yes! Just one bulletin board and then posters. Less work for you and it will look great!
