Great Video, although I want to know why you have not released a single video of yourself kitesurfing ever inspite of all this big talk about the post office and getting paid to hang out with the worlds top kitesurfers.

Someone else commented it was a blank kite core submitted in KOTA, why they did that I don't know, but I guess if they already had a blank kite they could submit it in this.
Awesome job ! Of course it is important to have an objective and fair way to test and realistically address the performance of the kites. And you are doing just that. But also much more than that ! The tests are interesting but the relationship between the riders and the focus on Ruben biggest carrier moments are brilliant! Keep going with your great work !
would be much appreciated if the riders can get deeper in the analysis, perhaps: bar pressure, forward flight in the wind window, upwind abilities, stability
@@yiimbob7805 my point is to the brand, they are scared to put it out there when they shouldnt. Its a good kite but they dont seem to think so cos they are scared the pros might think is not the best. I would now avoid going to that brand as they think themselves that it might not do great against other kites...
@@ignaciosernacampillo9527 thats exactly what I was thinking! They probably don't want to hear that their sls products dont really differ too much from the ones using conventional Materials.. at least in the way they're using it
The War Pigs Squealler is alot like a Blade High Score. Thin leading edge, high aspect ratio 5 strut, made for a fast turning kite that had a lot of canopy flutter and very little boost. It also has the angular swept wing tips. Couldn't see if the one on test had a pulley on the bridle, the High Score does.
The Cabrinha Nitro is a super fun kite. Flew it at a demo. Very nice hangtime and lift- even in marginal conditions. I felt that I needed to add some speed for it to work, i.e. pushing the kite a bit back into the window, then boosting. Its quite efficient, even when fully sheeted in. Kite is super stable and intuitive in the jumps( using bar pressure). I did not try loop it, but I think if you crank it, it turns super fast. It flies nice and far forward in the wind window. I think it dumps power really easily because of that. I noticed its extremely lightweight build. I'm quite cautious about the lifetimes and canopy stretch - but seems to be the way most brands and kites are going...
Can‘t speak for the other models, but the edge works much better when you use it on the hard + loop setting. I think XR and Rebel isn’t in the test, because of their high Y.
@@AdrianKerr „no no they gave it to me“😂 Sorry, but i can‘t believe that. „Hi Core, we planing a Freeride 5 strut blank test, you wanne be part of it?“ „Yes…here is our nexus🙃“ Duotone, of course didn‘t even answer.
But when the rider is riding their own kite, we discount it. So for all the feedback that counts, the kites are being flown on bars that aren't their own.
@@NaishEU In a dream world we'd have loads of 'blank bars' which are fully adjustable (line length and bar width). I'd also love to employ someone as a kite technician, checking that all the blank kites are flying the same as the production models before the pros touch them
Only one quibble.. I hate F-One Kites, but its not fair to test kites like F-One that require a high Y bar with a low V splitter. It does make them perform a lot differently. Its jitteriness in the air and backstalling would likely be improved by using a high Y bar.
Also my first thought, but the Trigger seems to use the low V setting on the linxbar. So seems to be okay. But this could be the reason why they didn't test a Duotone kite.

Is there a site available for the squeeler yet?
@@colincolincarroll curious choice of words, Colin. No two north's there for sure, but curious indeed
But no Duotone again??? Where are they 😂😂😂😂😂
Love these blank kite tests!
Why did they choose core nexus instead of xr?
Also curious, maybe because they are now testing the xr8 but it isn't finalised it yet and didn't want to run with the slower xr7

This is my favorite kite "series" to watch. Keep it coming. 💯
duotone knows it'll get exposed...even if the kite DID manage to win the test, the price still wouldn't be justified (3k for a 12 😂)
That blank Core is going to be difficult to identify 🤔🥴
I really liked to see the different opinions of pros in a blank test. Can't wait for the next part of the video!
Awesome episode, wish I could binge the series 😂 The Squeeler, haha what a stunt!

Probably because high-y bar gives it the brand away. Altho... Core is in here so idk
