I had a similar (if a bit over the top) reaction to the Artti T10, which also utilizes the “next gen” 14.2mm planar. Something special about the new driver I think. Implementation is important of course, but if this is where planars are headed, they’re going to gain a much wider audience. Great review again mate! ☮️
David, I am planning to order a pair of these earphones via Lazada for the equivalent of USD$85 (or less, possibly, depending on any available vouchers), in order to replace my UNCOMFORTABLE Hidizs MP145. Thanks for the comprehensive review!
Mee too, i am planning in buying my first planar and the s12 pro is currently the highly chance i would get. But i would like to know from the multiple reviewers' perspective if the s12 pro still viable in 2024
@choydeliverer7162 so far the information i have gathered is that f1 pro just copied the homework of s12 pro. Looking at the graphs and build it is 99.99% similar, but comes with newer gen planer driver and is better by only sight margin as its treble does not have those piercing mattalic characteristics that came about in some songs due to the old gen planer drivers. Only other difference is that f1 pro does not come with that interchangable cable of s12 pro and is cheaper because of that. I would advice that if looking for good planer with new gen driver either wait for timeless 2 release at 200$+ or just get something like f1 pro, kefine klaner, artii t10,etc. with new gen drivers at 100$ or less. I would avoid the mp145 for now due to the retune controversy or until new reviews are published to reverify how it actually sounds.

I'm coming from the hexa's, would you recommend the s12, f1 pro or Simgot em6l? I mainly use iems for gaming and music and media, and if you have other recommendations for under 200, what iem would you recommend?
If you're looking for something balanced that ticks all boxes try the Kefine Delci. S12 is still a good option if you want to try a planar and don't mind a leaner/brighter sound.
These or Moondrop Aria 2? I know that they′re very different but Idk what to choose to listen a bit of all, especially hip hop, rap, classical and electronic music. I think that the best choice is the Aria 2 but I want other opinions
Seems planar drivers are superior to DDs. Not sure about the economics of manufacturing or tuning, but I’m guessing these will be the standard as time goes on.
This versus PR3? Is it worth double price? Mainly looking for other sets to try around the PR3 price range, or I could upgrade to a better planar, but I'm not sure.

Thnaks for the review! Mids pushed back, my kind of IEM
Dont forget about the artti t10 as a cheaper alternative that is quite similar. Went for NiceHCK F1 Pro this as I want a better build :)
Very tempted but I have to hold off buying iems for awhile. These are on my planar list though.

Thanks for the comprehensive review!
Thanks for the review! I think you forgot about the Kefine Klanar, how does this compare to the Klanar?
Good call! Indeed, I did forget about the Klanar. It has more presence region and a smoother treble. Really wish I had included that one now!
Bro how does the kinera celest phoenix call compare to these?
The Phoenix Call has a brighter presentation, particularly in the upper mids.
Would you recommend this over the letshuoer s08?
No, I prefer the S08, just based on my tonality preferences.
@@PrimeAudioReviews how about regarding soundstage and imaging? f1 pro or s08?
F1 Pro has a slight edge in soundstage size but imaging is about the same.
@@PrimeAudioReviews nice! Thanks for the input.
@@PrimeAudioReviews would a dac dongle suffice for using this on my pc?
would really like to know opinions on how they compare to s12pro in interms of resolution/technicalities and overall before buying 🙏

Look at gizaudio’s review. He compares this to the Klanar and s12/s12pro . They are quick comparisons but nonetheless he does compare them.
I was really considering MP145, but it really is much expensive for my first planar IEM. I'm really considering the NiceHCK F1 pro.
Yeah, F1 Pro is good value. MP145 is better hands-down.
have you tried epz k5 if so how was it compared to other iem?
Nope, haven't tried it.
Do you have the Artti t10? If so, how does that stack against the f1 pro?
I haven't tried it!

Ok, MP145 or Performer 8? They are priced similar on the aliexpress btw.
I never received any of the Performer models! 😔

I prefer these or Simgot EA500.
This vs ea500lm which one better resolution, details, imaging, seperation? I want an upgrade from ew200.
EA500LM or Kefine Delci AE.
is it good for metal and hard rock music?
Yes, it is good for that.
Detailed, hope you can evaluate our products one day👋
What cable is that that you’re using with the MP 145?
I'm pretty certain that's the stock cable.
@ have you tried any aftermarket cables with your 145?
@Temmple I didn't feel any need to try other cables because the stock one is solid, and I got the balanced 4.4mm termination.
@ same. Just searching out a mini dac/amp. So far the PD6 is the one. Then maybe the TP35.

Not superior - just different.
Brother this or ea500lm?
They have a similar tuning. I'd rec the EA500LM just because it costs less.

If you want a smoother but still uncoloured sound then this is worth it.
is the timbre slightly better than s12 pro?
Yes, the extra warmth gives it a more natural tonality.
@@PrimeAudioReviews okay thanks!
Comment for da algorithm
Streak count: 330
This graphs the same as the letshuoer s12 so nothing really new....
ummm Yet S12 sounds way different. Graph bros!
@@PrimeAudioReviews I got both and disappointed with the F1 Pro. The S12 sounds way better. Bass is much more weighty
I also prefer s12. 😃
Are they really produced by NICE HCK?
