Did you use pond expanding foam or ? Abs and how is your silicone black?
The expanding foam is for aquarium, you can search "expanding foam for aquarium" in the amazon. You can choose different colors.

How often are you changing your water? Im about to build my first tank and im planning on 1" of dirt and 2" of sand, but worried about muddy water.
you should try and make a set up with all natural materials u collect near your house! u could show some collecting too. love your videos
