FireWire didn’t become popular? Really questionable statement there especially since every digital 8 camcorder had it built in and it was the backbone of Sony’s (Apple’s partner in its introduction) digital integration strategy. It was neither short-lived nor a failure. And definitely shouldn’t be at the top of a list of failures for Apple.
