You’ve missed the most important point, red canary’s are the result of a cross with the red hooded Siskin. This has the gene for the red colour. Hence Red Factor.

yup i switched off 40 seconds in when he said it was reliant on being colour fed. Needs to do some actual research before calling a video "all you need to know about red factors" when he clearly has not a single clue about red factors.

🐦🔍 Great point! Red Factor Canaries indeed owe their vibrant red color to a cross with the red-hooded Siskin, incorporating the red gene. Thanks for highlighting this important detail in their breeding history! 🌈👍

🐾 While VERSELE-LAGA can tax is a supplement often used for enhancing red color in certain birds, its effectiveness on a German Shepherd's coat may vary. Consult a vet for dog-specific supplements and dietary advice for a vibrant coat! 🌈🐕

Canaries arent the finches that you have shown. Those finches are gouldian finches, which are part of the estrildid finches, while canaries come from fringilidae or true finches.
