Smashing, cheers Jimmy. I've just ordered one and was wondering how much work it would take to get it together. I don't have a concrete base for it but I intend on concreting in the pegs on the support base each corner. Did you come up against any unexpected problems during assembly?
No not really. I took my time concreting the pegs, made sure it was all level and so on. And then i just followed the instructions. It can be a good idea to have 2 sets of hands at some points of the assembly. It is quite sturdy, there has been some storms since it was built and it has withstood them without any problems at all. Have fun building it :)
The instructions from Halls are useless it is ridiculous when you think how much they charge for their green houses it's a photocopy of a photo copy and nothing more than 18 pages of smudge ! even the instructions on their website are little more than a smudge ! there are plenty of alternative Greenhouses out there who provide accurate instructions for assembly my advice is buy one of them !

Did you fit the rubber glazing strip in the door? The instructions don’t tell you to but it makes sense to.

How did you join the baseframe with the upper frame? I would love to see as how is the base frame anchored to the ground?
A metal pole bolted to the frame down in the concrete

How long did this actually take in real time?
l34052 about a days work. I made the foundation the day before to make sure it was stabile and the concrete was hardened a bit.
