Very informative video! I bought a Yamaha NVX 155 and the dealer says I need to drive 10-15km every day, otherwise the battery stops working. Is that true? My bike’s battery stops working if I don’t drive it for a day (already replaced it and got a new one, but it’s still the same). Thanks again
To maintain the performance of the motorcycle battery, if the motorcycle is rarely used, you should start the motorcycle engine for about 5 to 10 minutes every day, it can be taken for a ride or turned on in a place with the main stand position so that the charging process occurs in the battery and the engine oil circulates.
If after replacing the battery, but the problem has not been resolved, you should take it to a Yamaha workshop for further checking, especially if the motorcycle is still under warranty
Terimakasih, sangat bermanfaat & jelas.
Hi, i want to ask, i’ve been using for almost 3 months now. I never turn off my smart key. Is it a bad habit? Should i practice turn off smart key when i’m not using? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
You don't need to turn off Smartkey when the motorbike is not in use or when in the parking lot. This is not a bad habit either.
@@GINZACHANNEL thank you! Looking forward for more informative/tips on this bike
Sir, I lost my first smart key and ordered a new one, can I still deactivate the old smart key even though I don’t have it anymore? Thank you.
Thank you
This is utterly stupid. You can hardly tell the difference between on & off. They should have done it like Honda that when it's on light turns green. Even by watching this well made video I could hardly see the difference between 0.1misc or the other . That's very confusing. I bought a new nMax 125 and rode it from the dealer home, left unused for 5 days and when wanted to turn it on all was DEAD ! Dealer was sure it's the key, but I took the battery out and it lacked a charge. After charging the battery it turned on right away. I never turn the key off. I assume that when I picked it up because it stood at the dealer for who knows how long it was already not full, and the ride home was not sufficient to charge it. I now again have it unused for few days and will check again. To be safe I ordered a portable charger so I can jump start it just in case. Had same experience with my Suzuki GSX 1000 (without Smart key) till I changed my battery to the best Japanese one that held for days with no issue. But this key lights is totally nonsensical.
I sympathize with what happened to you. Your initiative to provide battery chargers is great.
I totally agree with you - just bought new snipper with this crap system on
Sir i don't have my manual how I can change the battery
You can get the pdf file here:

What's the reason for turning the smart key off?
Turning off the smartkey is done to turn off the signal, so the knob cannot be turned and the motorcycle cannot be started. Turning off smartkey is also done when you want to register or add a new smartkey.
Sir I forgetted my key ID what is the solution for that sir
If the Key ID is lost, there are 2 options when adding a new remote.
First option, Replace module/SCU, remote and ECM.
The second option, just replace the remote, but before reading the key ID using the Smart Tool (program key tool)
thanks for helping us understand this badly designed system
