I recently tried this make up, OMG!! It does wonders to cover every spots and most importantly not too heavy ❤❤, thank you for sharing 👌🏾
I apply mine with a damp sponge too and it gives a lovely soft glow from within look. I love it 😊
THIS is exactly what I mean about a quick, fuss free foundation application that looks FLAWLESS 🥰. It looks beautiful on you Shaz.
I'm going to dig my beauty blender out tomorrow....you've totally inspired 'the makeup artist' in me now...😁😁xx
It really is that simple and you feel great after! I'm so delighted! Absolutely, play with you makeup and have fun! xx
What a great foundation! You look so put together!
A beauty blender is the way to go!
I use to think they were too difficult to use - once I picked one up and tried it it’s very easy! And cleaning them is a snap compared to washing cup fulls of brushes! Take care!
Thank you very much : ) It really is quick as you like and fuss free! xxx
Thank you so much for making this video! I have the foundation and I am struggling with how to apply and making it look good 💕
You are so welcome! Using the beauty sponge makes a world of difference! x
Ty. Trying to learn to use this. Other vids say not to put on alll over as it dries so fast its hard to blend but you don't hv that issue
If you use a damp sponge it makes it easier to blend and stops it drying fast
My holy grail foundation! I just never set it with powder because I don’t need to because my skin is dry. I only set my concealer under my eyes. 😊
Such a helpful video! I love double wear but always used a brush and it looked to “makeupy”.
I apply it with a damp sponge too. It is a great foundation. Once l runout of my concealer, l am going to try their concealer.😊 xx
Thank you!! just bought both the double wear foundation + concelor and could not get it right! Ususally use clinque but its sheer at best but def easier to work with ahaha. Appreciate your tutorial!
That does look so good on you! I think i'm going to order this again! I mean, why not?! lol
I use the exact same shade and also Laura mercier setting powder I might try the powder with a brush like you as I use a puffer type to apply and it can look a bit cakey as too much of the powder goes onto it xx
Great video ☺️☺️ can you please tell me what skincare are you using under this foundation? Also what sunscreen?💓💓💓
Thank you ☺️ I use I.S Clinical Cleansing Complex then Madara Hydra firm Hyaluron serum and then my spf is Heliocare Advanced Gel spf 50
No face primer?
You don't need it with doublewear, however, I have just purchased the Laura Mercier Illuminating primer and its perfection! x
I keep saying I have to try the light one, have you tried it I think it’s in a tube❓
I tried the light version before they changed the formula and I didn't like the one at all! x
Trying to figure out my bareminerals shade at the moment and it's tough due to a lack of stock of samples in stores where I live. I wear 145 rose beige in the loreal infallible range, and when I had tan on for a wedding I was told that I am Nc37 in the MAC studio fix fluid foundation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I don't want to buy the wrong shade and then let it go to waste.
A match for barePro liquid? Have a look at the shade 16 Sandstone. If for the original loose look at the shade medium 10.
@@BlondeTeaParty thank you so much for your reply. I actually just went for it and I ordered shade 18 pecan today in the fluid foundation. I can keep it for when I have tan on if it's too dark. I will let you know how I get on !
So, it's a little too dark I think. I literally think it will be perfect for when I wear tan. I am going to ask for a tester of 15 Sandalwood, 15.5 Butterscotch and 16 Sandstone, as I feel it's between the 3 of them.
what makeup do you have on your eyes?
It's the Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics palette. You can achieve the same with a matte mauve eyeshadow and I used purple eyeshadow as a liner.
Foundation brush or sponge?
I like both depending on how much coverage I want. The sponge gives lighter coverage, and a dense brush gives full coverage.
Ive heard you have to apply in thin layers yie it to loik good?
Yes that's right. A beauty blender will give you a thin layer whereas a brush will give you more concentrated coverage x
Hi
what tone do you use?
I'm a professional makeup artist. I have tried and tested some of the top brands and my kit used to contain kryolan (which is way to oily and thick and rubs off). Nothing that I have ever tried compares to Estee Lauder. It does oxidize a little but good prep and quality primer usually prevents that. I'm now building up my kit to contain only Estee Lauder and Catrice products.
What prep do you use to prevent oxidation...I love double wear but it oxidizes terribly on me.
Most crucial part is well moisturized and exfoliated skin. Also a good base should suffice. But make sure everything you use below the foundation is water based.
Have you tried and compared this to Mary Kay foundation? If so, which one is the best?
