His self depreciation humour is so quintessentially British and I love it.
Hugh Bens I think you mean caucasian #triggered
what is he a 2nd hand car? why is he depreciating? lol deprecating
@@Hughbens and yet here he is doing better then you are
@@Hughbens you need to travel a bit more and meet some different types of people. You are very close minded and come across as a racist tbh.

Womesh wanganathan is definitely a better pronunciation of his name

ooooh shit, this comment did me! hahaha
LOL I read the comment before it played 😆 🤣
Weallly!? 🤣
I'm Sri Lankan and he described Sri Lankan mom feeding methods spot on
Aniwa bokka
Lakshitha De Silva also Sri Lankan, when I was 7, I was skinny and everyone said I looked sick, now same age as Romesh, I have put on bit and my Mum tells me to lose weight! We can’t win!
All Asians can relate 🤣
Eat in secret bit was spot on, I still do it at work
@Sameer Vadlamani not really I’m Sinhalese Tamil mixed and Sinhalese parents are pretty much the same
"Ranga the lazy eyed assassin" 😄
😒😒😒😒😒lol
The stare he gives when everyone laughed at that! Solid comedian!
Genuinely thought he said lazy ass assassin... Of course too obvious, lazy eyed assassin is from a much higher form of self deprecation. His shtick never gets old either, the timing of it is perfect
if there was ever any doubt we're living in the only correct timeline, just imagine him as a comedy rapper.
@@ifatreefalse That's an interesting thought. Maybe you have another animus in another timeline or another reality that knows the lazy-eyed assassin as something else?
Gordon Ramsey sure enjoyed his Ramesh's stories 😄
Romesh* and yes he sure did.
@@user-xk9kj6jg5l Ramesh & Romesh are same. They've same meaning. Just the other has Sanskrit pronunciation.

Rita Ora was basically his hype man on this
Hehe gotta love Rita Ora. I bet she felt obligated because he has the Albanian Eagle tattoo too haha

Any asian/ethnic kids know when your growing up your parents, will feed you so much but then cuss you out for being fat. 😂😂
Big facts
So true
and when you finally lose weight, they sarcastically say that you "economical" as a person.
I'm dench now n I have to eat bares, but now I eat too much healthy food🤦🏻♂️🤷🤷🤷🤷
So very true!!
He was my maths teacher. Funny as hell
How could you stand laughing till your gut hurt!
Reality Check Lucky you! I may have enjoyed Maths with him as my teacher instead of wanting to open a vein...everyday!
I sadly left the school just before he started teaching.
I'm so fucking jealous
Y's up.
"She is a flame thrower to my self esteem" all asian kids can relate to this statement
Love Gordon Ramsey’s and Ritas reactions. They seem like such fans despite being mega successful themselves. Think there might have been a bit of a language barrier with Fred and Gino 😅
they seemed quite alright, loving his storytelling. Just more laid back it seems.
Nailed it Sabrina.
such low standards...
actually Fred speaks fluent English as well as French obviously and he's even fluent in Italian
Agreed. Or they just don’t have a sense of humour.
"I wasn't expecting THIS kind of racism." lol.
It's weird seeing Gordon laugh. It's like seeing a cryptid in your back garden
😂😂
How u gonna disrespect Gordon like that.. he makes more more money in a day than how much your make in a life time

Stop killing tamils in sri lanka, romesh family is a refuge flying off sri lanka from getting shot by srilanka military
Romesh is a natural, so underrated and absolutely hilarious!
I can't tell how famous he is haha he is pretty famous in the UK I imagine
Romesh breaking and laughing at the photo of himself was epic. He's always deadpan and sarcastically happy.
Seeing Gordon so obedient and chill is a visual treat once in a while
Insaan ka bacha bana hua hai 😁😁

Honestly, I really enjoyed Rita and romesh's interaction in this. Imagine if they became friends, it would be hilarious
Dude shut up
YES & join Kathryn Ryan and Sarah Pascoe 😆 they would roast Rita though! Would be lovely if she could keep up!
It would be great idea but I can't help but think she got offended about him saying the Albanian tattoo was a mistake.. her face dropped liked anything
They'd be hilarious
yes it was gorgeous
I love Romesh. My UK comedy heroes are Richard Ayoade and David Mitchell. They are the kings of deadpan and shut down comedy to me. But none of them are able to slay with silence like Romesh Ranganathan.
I love it when he gets ‘annoyed’
I think the silence really brings out his “Lazy Eye Assassin” persona
I can't help but cry of laughter when I hear this man doing his thing; utter genius - love him!
My God, this guy is hilarious 😂 can’t believe I’ve only discovered him now!
😲😲 you discovered him now!!!!! You have to binge watch 9 years of stuff, and get to know his mom. I envy you!!!
Lucky for you he has so much content. Go wild watching it all! Dude is genuinely funny, even as a non Brit I still laugh out loud!
No way!! Have u been under a rock lol romesh one of the best out there.
Watch him on taskmaster I think it was season 1 he was on. Its hilarious
Wow, he is great, enjoy watching his content. The book is good too fyi 😊
Romesh stand-up is brilliant. The way he uses pauses and silence is perfection.
Other than laughing throughout this...I realised Jon Ross + Romesh is a PERFECT combo for a talk show/show of some sort. They've got a great comedic chemistry that I could listen to for hours
I'm Crawley born myself and met Romesh in a bar once. Nice guy.
Gino hasn’t got a clue as to what was going on
Yes, I notice that too, I loved how Rita and Gordon were genuinely laughing and enjoying Romech and both Gino and Fred weren't hahah. Which is weird because as a foreign myself as well (Tunisian 🇹🇳). I understood most of it and lmfo.
Gino can f of with his naan
cause he's a weirdo
Maybe they’re racist? Jk
@@dacads Cultural differences, the hardcore self depreciation British humour doesn't always click with people from other countries, they think talking bad about yourself so people laugh at you is quite weird.

His mom is a typical Srilankan Tamil mom , as he said ,feeding their child..
U mean overfeeding 😂

Lol. Romesh and Rob are the best duo I’ve watched for a while now. Just brilliant the two of them.
Rang the Lazy Eye Assassin that killed me.. 🤣🤣🤣. This guy is a natural.... his missus must be a really patient person. To be fair almost all comedians are self-deprecative when it comes to their spouses.
God I love Romesh. Love his humor and everything he brings to his comedy.
I love how Gordon Ramsay laughs at everything Womesh says. He's just having a blast
Wamsay*
his skin colour is gorgeous
Lol trying to hard...
I thought this was a weird comment but ngl.. He does have a particularly warm tone that is really pleasant to look at.. But it feels weird discussing mans complexion 😂
Ok?😂
Nah. Standard. Only people uncomfortable with their sexuality Gonna have a problem saying a comment like that lmao. It’s calm. Best skin complexion for man or woman, is Latina and Black/Brown. Straight up.
I completely agree. I love south Indian color. Its warm undertones with cooler overtones. Loveliest skin in my opinion.
Every time I see the guy on the right, the "my grandmother would have been a bike" joke flashes in my mind. 😄
I completely understand with the Jam sandwiches ..... that's what we all had for lunch at school
Not lunch............break 😂😂
Yes! Boarding school sandwiches were the worst. Made with white margarine and some indescribable jam. Yuk.
Not lunch! Mid morning snack!
I also had that crap for lunch.
I love Gordon Ramsay's reactions..
One thing you DON'T want to hear when you show your tattoo =" I've got EXACTLY the same thing!"
Not sure there is currently anyone around who is as hysterically comedic as Ranga... British humour at its very best!
Romesh is just brilliant, funniest guy, love all his shows, his travel ones were so good,
This man is Legend. He made, Gordon Ramsay laugh for that long, rare moment of my life (at least)
I watched this because of Romesh, but it’s really nice to see how interested Rita is in whoever’s speaking. Like that’s really cool to see she seems like a really cool person.
Hes hilarious, so naturally funny. It just rolls off him.
His mom told him to Hide when he's eating his sandwich
Aaww 😫

@Gurpreet Singh Silence, Indian. He comes from an obscure country of twenty million, let us be proud
@@Boyd2342 roflmao ….👏👏👏 trust an Indian to pipe up and say a Sri Lankan is from India….reminds me of that sketch in Goodness Gracious Me, where the Dad thinks everything is Indian including the English Royal Family - living together all under one roof - Indian 😂😂

@Gurpreet Singh
I'm also like Romesh - I'm Brit born and my folks are Sri Lankan. That makes me a British Sri Lankan or Sri Lankan Brit depending on how other people percieve me. I, like Romesh have plenty of family and friends still in Sri Lanka but unlike him, have been every year sincr I was born (until lockdown began). Your name suggests you must be Sikh. If so are your parents from India but you were you born in Canada? And if so, and you have family/ friends in India, how do they feel about you saying you're not Indian but Canadian? Nothing wrong in that, its up to you but not all of is born in the West forget our heritage - we're proud and consider ourselves lucky we have two countries to call home. We get the love from (and love) both countries 🇬🇧🇱🇰🙏😊👍
Gordon Ramsay laughing is one of the best things on this earth. Romesh did that! 🤣🤣😍😍👌🏼
I love this video and keep rewatching it idk he’s just so nonchalantly, self deprecatingly hilarious
This guy has me in stitches day in and day out. Hope he continues to smash it!
I just love Gordon's reaction... he's so chill...
Are we just gonna ignore those fire bars he dropped at the end? 😂
I can't recall where, but the first bit I saw of Romesh Ranganathan, he said, "I'm like a coconut, brown on the outside & white on the inside"... have loved him ever since!
Thats such an old joke though..definitely not his.
Ive watched this interview like 5 times its so good
Gordon is like me... Doesn't say a word and just keeps laughing at my friends groups jokes 😂
Ain’t like him is it😂
Rita was so supportive of him throughout the segment. And Gordon couldn't control his laughs apart from the other 2 stuck ups on the sofa.
The “other two” are *not* British, Fred is french, Gino is Italian, they may have struggled with totally understanding what was being said. Unsure if they should laugh about a fat kid etc?
Did your mum teach you to be that rude? Tell her “mom, julie says you’re a c@nt who raised a rude child” you nasty little turd.
I was thinking it might have been a bit of a language barrier with the other two because one of them is Italian and ones French
How come I've never heard of him before ....he's amazing❤️
This man is comedic platinum.
Brilliant.. Rita and Ramsey were great and very support..
I love Romesh 4 being so honest about being a tubby, about his couldn't give a shit wife, about his soon 2 b a big star mom n just being so naturally funny he had my love Gordon Ramsey giggling like a child! So thanks all round!💋💋💋💋💋
I can't stop laughing as Johnathan kept calling him womash 😂😂

The thing he told about Sri Lankan moms feeding habbits is so damn true...

Beyond fabulous.
England (and I would guess a lot of Europe too) always has those MASSIVE talk show spaces. iiiiiinteresting.
I can attest to what he said about Sri Lankan moms. I was so portly, no diet didn't work until I fully moved out of my parents'.
He has that weird Borat energy and I love it
Yo, for real though he should drop at least one album. He's got that mellow tone i love and he was QUICK picking up that beat.
I love his sense of humour.
It's the first time I've seen that chef happy for so long.
At least he ain’t saying F off or getting a saw throat again
