Yea I was wondering if Rose were to ever return and get Spinel, I highly doubt she would return back to PD. Instead she would probably state a line that would let Spinel know she was PD from a past conversation, in this case probably the game. It makes sense that only in Spinel's mind she would want PD to show herself again to get her.
Imagine Spinel as a part of the Crystal Gems. She was bad ass in the movie so I would imagine the heat of battle would have made her bad ass enough to fight but still charming and goofy enough to be a good playmate for Steven growing up. Spinel would have also provided comfort when it's needed most. A good example of this would be when Rose decided to give up her form for Steven to exist, Spinel would be there for the others as a source of comfort.
I don't know if Spinel being part of the Crystal Gems would have ended well since she, unlike Pearl, would have ended up revealing Rose's real identity considering how naive she was at that time.

If Pink made it a game, then I feel Spinel would have played along. I also feel like once the diamonds tried to destroy earth and Spinel witnessed so many Crystal Gems get shattered, poofed and corrupted, Spinel's nativity would have considerably lowered. She would have talked to Pink about it and Pink would have told Spinel the truth and since Pearl was in on it, she would have been a part of that conversation too. Granted, Spinel would have been upset at first but she would have begun to understand that this isn't a game anymore, this is truthfully life and death going on. This is war. She'd be a good playmate for Steven growing up and would have understood Pink's choice to have Steven later on as Steven grew up. That's just how I feel personally. :)
I'm afraid she would probably be furious and devastated if Rose wanted to dissapear again this time forever, even more as she could be jelous of Pearl. She could want revenge or to keep Rose forever and threathen to reveal her secret and this would escalate to a fight between everybody ending either in the Big reveal or Spinel sharing Bismuth's fate (or them being suspicious this time - finding out about Bismuth & Spinel and even bigger FIGHT and eventual breakup of the group) or/and Spinel trying to kill/hurt Steven for real even as an infant to get Rose back. So as much as I wish for the good scenario to be the true and real one I have a feeling that Spinel was cut off from the picture by Rebbeca not without a reason 😔... but hey, we don't know for complete 100% so maybe there still exists a chance ? 😅
Ya know, a Spinel is made to be the best friend, confidante, companion for a diamond. Six thousand alone was probably tortuous for a gem made for companionship. This made it so much sadder, I love your animations.

Goddamn, what a stunning animation. I've already seen it said in the comments but so much can be said without characters saying a single word and it broke my heart (in the best way possible). Lore talk, what kills me about this is that I'm sure Spinel had crossed Rose's mind many times, and as much as Rose's actions have caused me frustration and second-hand pain for the ones she hurt, I feel like I kind of understand her position. There are plenty of reasons she couldn't go back to get Spinel; the galaxy warp being destroyed, warps in general being monitored, risking her identity being outed and probably more. Could she have found a better way to go about these problems? Sure. Would I have loved her to think of literally any better way to get Spinel back? Absolutely. But if she truly thought she couldn't do anything about it (as crappy as that is for both her and Spinel) then I can only imagine that adding to the trauma she's already been through. And this is coming from someone who's been in situations like Spinels (not exactly of course but you know). And I don't want to make excuses for Rose but goddamn- I can't help but feel bad for both her and Spinels' messed up situation with the universe's worst case of generational trauma. I have... lots of thoughts lol. Anyway, this short and beautiful animation made me feel a lotta things.

That was actually a very emotional ending, as much as I love your AU stuff I think you did a really good job with this kind of storytelling. Keep it up!

Your newest video is age restricted but I just wanted to say that I loved it!! Pink and White honestly have my favorite swap designs ever and they’re genuinely really cute. Yellow and Blue aren’t really too much changed unfortunately, but they don’t look bad. I thought the animation was amazing, and I love how Pink had a bunch of nature around her, especially the puppeting moment. Super great work!

I doubt she forgot about her, but I think she didn’t go back for her was because of the fact that Spinel definitely would’ve accidentally spilled the beans about her being PD. This hurts, I’ve done this exact same thing in this exact same situation. I relate a lot to Spinel, You make up situations in ur head of that person who you love more than anything actually showing up to surprise you and proving that they love you as much too, only to come back to reality that it’s not real, and it’ll never happen.
Pink couldn't get Spinel after the Diamonds attack because the transporters from Earth to Homeworld or across the galaxy were destroyed, if it worked Spinel could have been rescued because the Diamonds didn't even know she had been left there, when Blue says " One of Pink's LOST treasures" that is, they didn't watch the garden and Rose could YES get Spinel, but she chose not to do that, not because she didn't care, but because she didn't want to be found out or for something to get in the way her plans, That was a war, Spinel wasn't a serious Gem, she was only aggressive in the movie because she was betrayed by the person she had spent her whole life wanting her to be happy, she had reasons to attack everyone in the movie, Pink was starting to get sick of Spinel because she is clingy, and if she became a Cristal Gem the Diamonds would be suspicious because she was created to LOVE Pink, and out of nowhere her staying with the Gem who "was her rival" would be extremely suspicious, so in parts the Pink was getting sick of Spinel, and like Rose, she didn't look for her so as not to spoil her cover and not to cause suspicion, yes, Rose could not have taken Spinel after all that precisely because she didn't care, since she's always been trying to get it right , she didn't realize that it hurt the people around her, but Rose stopped being childish over time, and changed from a childish and tantrum diamond to a leader who thought she would never be enough for anyone, Rose was transitioning from Pink for Rose during the Rebellion, as we can see when she bubbled up the bismuth and lied to her friends without a care, she still wasn't Rose at all.
This is why the end of every Steven universe episode that song plays like ‘I always thought I might be bad now I’m sure that it’s true’ cuz she left her😢
