This was the only time. It was yet to be written in, Todd McFarlane made the symbiote to what it is now with Venom. Then John Semper Jr. made it to what it is today in 1994 with Spider-Man The Animated Series where Christopher Daniel Barnes gave a very noble and respectable voice to Peter/Spider-Man. Plus if you like the idea that it did, there is a 6 issue mini-series written by Chip Zdarsky in a What-If the symbiote took over Peter's life. Of course, there's another What-If from the 80s that has the same idea but it's played out differently. In my opinion, John Byrne changed Venom too much with his run of The Amazing Spider-Man. Giving Sandman and Venom a backstory where they had met and fought each other. At least it's not like in Ultimate Spider-Man (cartoon) and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in which Harry Osborn is Venom. Mac Gargan as Venom is a pretty neat idea that has not been overdone and it would fit a new animated series well.

The Enigma Force is also one of my few favorite Marvel power-ups. Any Marvel character in general deserves to be one of the most powerful beings in whole existence with several incredible super abilities: - Boundless physical strength. - God-like durability. - Unlimited stamina. - Unlimited speed. - Flight. - Energy projection. - Energy manipulation. - Matter manipulation. - Sensory/visionary powers.

Silk is amazing and it was definitely good when she was added to The Spider-Man Franchise I really love Silk as much as I love Spider-Man.
