@@GermanInsider fr I think 70k+ NET is pretty convenient for a family of 2 people. Ofc as the original commentator said it depends on needs, but this salary should be enough to cover crucial ones and a good number of unnecessary things.
It is enough if you don't save money. I think that for family of 2, both should be able to save from 1000 euro (2k together) every month. I'm an immigrant, I came to Germany too late to be able to get a good pension. So there's no other way how you can feel yourself more or less safe but to save significant amount of money every months. I guess that's why many people consider 10 000 monthly as "too much". And I often hear reaction like "Dude, you've really gotten full of yourself'.
@@GermanInsider1.5k EUR is an average pension in Germany. You have at least twice higher salary than average German, so you are entitled 3k euro - 30% because of coming late but still it's around 2k euro monthly. Isn't it enough or my calculation is wrong?
Thank you & keep it up. Can another budget wise option be for a family : live in a small town in the bayern country side and work remotely for an IT company in Munich ?
I am following you since few weeks I have saw your videos, and it is very much helpful for outsider to know about the situation. Thanks and keep making such videos and don't know your name, what is your name?
i was dying laughing when you said IT and that clay worker popped up.
That's what we often doing in IT: "trying to make a candy from poop")
Good content. I agree that for the average family, it works like that. Of course, everything depends on your consumption level.
I think many people will try to kill me when I said that 6K is the minimum comfortable level for Munich)

Sure. I know many people who do like that. They save at least 500 - 1000 monthly on renting expenses.

Would you please clarify are you talking about a single person or a family of 2 or 4?
Hi, 3 or 4.
@@GermanInsider thanks! I’m single and wanting to move to Germany and you were scaring me lol. So a single should be good with $2500?
It depends where you will live. But generally should be ok for single.
