could yall consider doing a video on how to asses your current team and figure out the weaknesses? should I be comparing the cats that other teams around the league are putting up compared to mine? or how would I know if say, my +/- cat or hits cat is weak comparatively? love this channel and just looking for some advice on how to assess my current state of affairs relative to my league
So i got a Trade done. I sent: Miller / Marner and received Matthews / Pettersson. Now i have a chance to Trade for Nylander - but would cost Kempe + Morrisey. Im deep on defense but still - its spicey
@@Beezie23 I agree... Drouin's numbers last year were not impressive at all. 79 games - 19 G, 37 A (56 PTS) and only 127 shots! And that's playing with Nate and Mikko! Colton will cool down for sure, but even if he plays at a 30-goal pace, that's leaps and bounds better than Drouin!

Need some advice from anyone if they got it: Should I drop Ryan Nugent-Hopkins or trust that he’ll turn his season around? If I drop him who’s someone I should try to swap him with?
As Mike said in the previous video, never drop a cold player to start the season. Just look at the Preds as a team, who would have bet they would lose their first 5 games? They will turn it around, RNH is likely to hit 60-70P, I doubt you can find 65P's on the waiver wire unless you play in a 8-10 league.
@@zkusa good advice. I have faith in him I’ve been a fan of his since I was a kid. Just didn’t wanna see the Oilers have this slow start again like last season. Plus they dropped him down to second line so he’s no longer with McDavid, but I figure once the Oilers start rolling again he’ll get moved up. I considered maybe trading him for a goalie. It’s an 8 man league and I only have 1 goalie right now (Igor Shesterkin). What are your thoughts on Shea Theodore and Mikhail Sergachev? Might have to drop one of them this week to get a backup goalie.
@@pmo71 Yeah... 8man leagues will have streaming G's all season long. If you have no minimum starts, just roll with Igor. As the season rolls along you will see more Tue, Thur, Sat schedules. So... forwards on your bench won't have a starting spot and you can stream another G.
@@zkusa Linus Ullmark is available and I kinda wanna grab him just so I have a solid backup for either RNH, Sergachev, Theodore, or possibly Barzal or Marchand. Thoughts on that? Or should I just keep my players and drop a guy for a goalie when I need to?
@@pmo71 if you don't have minimum G starts each week, roll with your forwards. When you do need G help just stream any goalie with favorable matchups that week. I'm sure you can drop a F in an 8 team league. (example) Drop Marchand and pickup players like Kyrou, Hagel, Marchand the following week. I don't play 8 team leagues, to convoluted and they have massive free agent player pools to stream from each week.
