- Julia Hartley-Brewer reacts to the Conservatives being projected to slump to their “lowest seat tally in the party’s almost 200-year history” at the General Election, according to a pollster.
YouGov said its latest study projects Labour to secure 425 seats, the Tories 108, the Liberal Democrats 67, SNP 20, Reform UK five, Plaid Cymru four and the Green Party two.
It noted such a scenario would hand Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer a 200-seat majority while it added Reform UK leader Nigel Farage is “likely” to win in Clacton.
Julia says: "The Tories are campaigning in their safest seats."

How anyone can vote Tories or Labour is beyond me
I emailed my mp (Tory) the day after Sunak was installed and told him you will lose the next general election. I got no reply. 😅
Emailed different mps n Home Secretary’s in detail 😮showing them how immigration will destroy our country financialy, £3 trillion in debt going bankrupt 😮and never got a reply, but Patel blocked me 😮
Sunak can go back to his $7 million beach front house 🏡 you know the one that should be under water by now 🙄
I’m waiting for the howls for Proportional Representation from Tories and Reform together.
Reform
Reform need to go after Labour now, Tories are already toast.
Brexit Tories fed it now being eaten.
I really do hope that the formerly Conservative Party get Zero seats, that is what they deserve. I will be voting for Reform.!
Vote for reform I think 30 seat will be great
They’ll be lucky to get that
A vote for the Tory party is a vote for Labour ! Vote Reform
Reform manifesto is a joke and not achievable
What ??
There should be no safe seats for the Tories 😊
Where i am no leaflets no campaigners deep joy
Hartley Brewer must be very upset, the party she loves, the tory party is about to lose power if the polls are correct,. I am sure Hartley Brewer will still vote for the loony Tories on April 4th.
