Just a few words Doc, your a God send, didn't realize that the grass my father-in-law planted at the house we own was bermuda. Confusion came from the idea that I found out recently that he would overseed with Rye in the winter just to have green looking grass. Enough said there but your information I have put into practice starting this year late but promise to work hard at it and thank you my brother.
Good evening doc Like to thank you for sharing ALL THIS lawn care tips u been sharing , I just recently killed all my old lawn with Round up two weeks ago and this week I Put down something Called black jack Bermuda grass I Purchased some PGF and Superjuice I now waiting for the seeds to Germinate.
Day 18 following application of PGFComplete. Hot and dry, fescue, in Up State of South Carolina. Thank goodness for irrigation. Lawn looks fantatic. SuperJuice tomorrow with added liquid humic.
Hey Doc! I just wanted to get on here and tell you that my hubby watches your channel all the time. He never misses a video and I have seen so much improvement in the lawn. He works so hard on it and every time he follows your advice it just gets a little bit better and better looking. Thanks so much for your videos! When he's happy that the lawn looks great I am happy.
Thanks for the advance notice. As you indicate, it's important to plan and lots of people don't plan well. I inventory my products, too, so I have them when needed.
Thanks for all the help Doc! I fired my professional care service this year and just followed your advice and products and my lawn has never looked better! I never minded caring for my lawn, I just never knew what to use and when. Now we’re rolling and looking awesome! Jason S - Sugar Hill, GA
Thanks for the Fall schedule video, Doc. Just received 8 bags of PGF Complete fertilizer. Will apply when temperatures come down in the 80s. Thanks again for all the outstanding videos!
Doc your videos are the best and most informative I've seen. You make lawn care very easy for the do it yourself person. You explain and demonstrate what to do in easy common person language understanding. Thank you for your time and knowledge!
I’m new at this game but I’ve studying for about 2 months and watching Doc and BYD videos. I’ve been waiting for this video. And I’m super ready to start the first ever cycle of treating my lawn.
As always I love your videos. I need to get some Humic DG but I haven't done it. I'd also love the spreader because I'm paralyzed and my girlfriend is 4'11" 95lbs and my spreader has plastic wheels and one locks up on her. Thank you for telling me to leave the Thatch for the winter. I have planned on trying to remove it. All the rest was still amazing information.
My lawn has never looked better, Doc you have educated me so much. Thanks. Will always be watching you. Can you teach us how to create a bed edge when using a reel mower?
Doc I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share it. I have been working hard to follow your instruction and it is paying off big time. I began taking control of my own lawn about 6 months ago and the results are amazing. I am excited about this fall and getting prepared for next season. Thanks! Matt
Hi Doc I just started watching your videos and find them very helpful, especially since I'm a 1st time home owner which means I have to take care of my own lawn. I'm looking forward to following your timeline and seeing how my lawn will look like next spring. I live in NYS and my grass looks like your neighbors, brown and crunchy.
So thankful I found your channel last year, Doc. I've learned, and continue to learn soooo much! Looking forward to your interview video! Thanks for all you do, Doc!
Doc, We are in Athens GA and have been following your guidance for over a year now, including utilizing the new PGF Complete on 50,000 sq ft of new Bermuda sod. Thanks for everything. Very informative RM
Really enjoy the information you share. Straight forward, to the point, and easy to follow. --- I'm new to the bermuda grass care so these videos have been most helpful!!
I like your videos. I have a cool season lawn but I still watch your videos and take what I can use. My PGF complete arrived a couple days ago but because I just used a liquid fertilizer 16 4 8 on 7 16 (first time using liquid) instead of milo I haven’t used the pgf yet. I was going to wait until I overseed once temps drop. Hey thanks again for the good videos.
Thanks Doc. I’m in Texas and have Bermuda grass. I have patches of clover, when and how should I treat those areas to get rid of the clover. The rest of the yard is doing well. Currently using PGF and Super Juice. Thanks
Thanks Doc. I just fired my lawn care professional to do my own lawn care going forward. Your information and product knowledge makes me feel I can do it myself. I already bought PGF Complete and Super Juice and see some good results. I will follow your fall plan too. Thanks again, Gary G.
Hay Doc, when you were talking about pre emergent .You said that you wouldn't put pre emergent out unless you have a weed problem! Please address if you are having problems now! how to handle them. Thank Doc for all that you do.😁
Doc as part of the offseason video schedule could you consider doing a video on maintenance on your Tru-Cut reel mower especially showing the back-lapping procedure using the backlap kit sold for Tru-Cuts . I know this will only be of interest to a narrow group of viewers but a lot of us reel mower people are sort of out here on our own as there are no service centers available to us nearby and no one to ask questions . Thanks for the consideration
Hey Doc. Surprised you did not speak about fall seeding and how that fits into things. I have cool season grass on clay soil and want to level and oversees. Hope you can address this in the next few weeks as I’m in Ontario (Canada) living by the border and temperatures start to drop the last week in aug and first frost is around Halloween. Thanks!
I did not put pre-emergence down in the fall and spring of last year and crab grasses exploded after I put down a 10-10-10 earlier in the summer. I have now switched to the PGF complete but need to get the crabgrass under control. I was told by a local landscaper supply store to use produce called Fahrenheit which I just applied about a week ago. Besides having to put the fahrenheit down will the winter dormancy phase kill some of that crabgrass and if I put pre-emergent down in the coming year can I get rid of most of that poa and other crabgrasses. I am in the upstate of South Carolina.
Love your videos and products. Moved to the Outer Banks, Nags Head last August. First time with a Bermuda lawn. Mostly hybrid with areas of common. Soil is all sand (beach) area. Rarely gets to 32 degrees. Can you comment on having sandy soil and applying PG Complete, Humichar, etc? Thanks
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it. Will do on the humichar and have put down three applications of PG Complete, every 3-4 weeks. Thanks
I installed new Bermuda sod in early June, it’s rooted and doing very well. Will I be able to put a fall pre-emergent down or is the lawn still too new? Just don’t want to do anything to hurt my new lawn! Thanks and love watching the videos, I’ve learned so much
Doc, you are awesome and thank you for the videos and knowledge. I recently applied some of the Duocide Insect granules because I have some patches of brown dead grass and I thought maybe pest related. It hasn't improved much and I dont see grubs at all or dead insects on the grass. Could it be disease. Should I treat for fungus? I can send pics. Thanks so much for the assistance. I live in Summerville SC and have centipede grass
Watch the hurricane video. Most homeowners really can't figure it out, so do a fall treatment for all is what I tell most if they have issues. You'll see the one day treatment there.
What’s up Doc? Thank you for all of the great information. I started out with a dirt patch with weeds on May 27th and as of July 24th, my lawn looks like Augusta National. All I did was plant new Bermuda seed add Super Juice and PGF Complete. Keep up the great videos. #Growitthick
Hey doc - I've kept my lawn taller through the summer to prevent burn - should I shorten the grass before applying the fertilizer, or fertilize, and shorten it after a week or two when growth starts to slow. btw, love your videos! Thanks
Just a few words Doc, your a God send, didn't realize that the grass my father-in-law planted at the house we own was bermuda. Doc , You're NOT an idiot! Thanks for posting!
At first I though Doc said snacking instead of stacking. Interestingly snacking also sounds appropriate.
Thanks for all your videos...my lawn has looked great this year. Neighbors are jealous of my beautiful, thick green lawn.
Day 18 following application of PGFComplete. Hot and dry, fescue, in Up State of South Carolina. Thank goodness for irrigation. Lawn looks fantatic. SuperJuice tomorrow with added liquid humic.

He's a KEEPER.... :)
Hey Doc you are one of the best out here. Too many haters out there. Keep doing what your doing. Your top notch in my book.
Hey Doc! You are not an idiot! Appreciate what you bring to the channel. Broad knowledge, easily understood.
Thanks for the advance notice. As you indicate, it's important to plan and lots of people don't plan well. I inventory my products, too, so I have them when needed.

Great stuff Doc! My lawn has never been thicker then it is now. 1 more season and it should be close to perfect.
Doc I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share it. I have been working hard to follow your instruction and it is paying off big time. Possibly... had to adjust reel blades today... pain.

Hey Doc, Can you put down a top dressing in the fall? It seems to always get washed away in the spring. Since I add it to the top of the clay soil.
I appreciate your videos so much.
I watch all your video's and have learned a ton.. THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO.!

Double up on HUMICHAR and keep putting down PGF every 3-4 weeks. Same as a putting green.
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it. Will do on the humichar and have put down three applications of PG Complete, every 3-4 weeks. Thanks

New to your page Doc! Live here in South Texas and trying to get my lawn in the best shape. Your videos a so helpful. Thanks for you help.
Thanks Doc for the info as always.
YAY! fall to-do list, bring on that PGF Complete
I installed new Bermuda sod in early June, it’s rooted and doing very well. Will I be able to put a fall pre-emergent down or is the lawn still too new? Just don’t want to do anything to hurt my new lawn! Thanks and love watching the videos, I’ve learned so much
Hold off until the late winter when grass is 100% dormant.
Thanks for sharing Doc.
Doc, you are awesome and thank you for the videos and knowledge. Hey doc - I've kept my lawn taller through the summer to prevent burn - should I shorten the grass before applying the fertilizer, or fertilize, and shorten it after a week or two when growth starts to slow. btw, love your videos! Thanks
I would shorten, apply, then water well.
You're a wealth of knowledge Doc!... Thank you for sharing!
