Hi, appreciate this video about the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. Time flies, it’s been 9 years since I met up with that incident and subsequently travelled twice to the hit areas in Aug 2011 and Mar 2012. Understand you are not familiar with this, but one additional fact why people were not able to escape in time was because of the bottleneck in the mountain roads where tons of cars were queuing to get out of the area when the first warning came. They had only 30 min to react but imagine a long traffic jam? Many contributed to those 20,000 who were swept away to sea. Also appreciate your support for tourism in these uncertain times. Hope things get back to normal soon so the economic impact will not be too severe for everyone, especially the tourism sector 🙏🏻
