Thank y’all so much!! I left a comment on facebook one day asking about stem height, and someone replied and said they’d make a video and they did!! But one more question, what actually DETERMINES what your valve stem height needs to be, and how do you find out what your needed valve stem height is. Thanks so so much guys!!
Thanks for the idea Noah! We go off of factory stem heights of what it should be or should be close to it. When you are to far off in either direction it creates issues with fitment of parts. You can use the tool I showed in this vid or you could use a dial caliper to figure out what your stem height is. There is not much info on what it should be on the internet however, so that would be a tough one to answer. Besides just measuring it what it is stock.
that is a tough one. We have data from heads before they get worked on. Which anyone could do when they remove their stock head and could measure it. But, the internet is not friendly for that kind of info.

@@headgames Well alright then! Thanks guys!!
What is done to get the correct height if it is off from oem specs? Could you maybe explain when or why you might need to shim valve springs as well?
where do you find spec for valve stem height?
