Such a balanced panel; a divorcee, experienced married woman, and a relatively younger married woman. Have been so much blessed listening to such wonderful women. Thanks for sharing your experiences
I think marriage is a partnership where both parties set the rules. You can choose to write the rules and anyone who breaks it is cautioned. Tell your partner things you can do and cannot do. Examples are, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, number of children to have, etc, etc. Couples at their free should read the bible Genesis to Revelation for themselves and not wait for the pastor to tell them ananse stories all the time.
I am sure the woman from the USA could not cook Ghanaian dishes so the husband was looking for a way out of the marriage for a long time so he had a good excuse when he saw the note of the other man in her bag. I know of many Ghanaian men who have brought their foreign wives home and divorced.
I hope you're not attempting to make excuses for her husband. Abuse is evil and should never be tolerated. He shouldn't have married her or any other women until he'd got therapy and worked through his own issues.
