That made me chuckle like an idiot, because it means something _very_ different in German. 😅
Words that have nut in them can’t be used to describe videos that are _ or about womyn / humnz - that adjective in German must not be misused anymore, because nut in English is a food related term, and the word nuttige contains the word nut - and the word red must be edited out because colors (and big terms etc) can’t be misused in names (and names also can’t contain big terms etc or special names like Lin / Lina etc that only reflect me) etc!
I think I’m intermediate level in Dutch now (after learning Dutch for about 10 days) and I can understand most of what was said in this video without the English sub - when I don’t know what a word means, I quickly switch to the English sub and then back to the Dutch sub...

(I started learning Korean a month earlier than that, yet my comprehension of Korean is so much less). "Ook al /al"betekent eventhough, when conjugate, why this subordinate has invertie, ( conjverb in second position), instead of in the end position
That’s because it’s not a conjunction word so it occupies a place in the sentence and then you have a main sentence with inversion :)

Erg interessante video. Ik heb echter wel een vraagje over het woord gezellig, want ik heb van sommige nederlandstaligen (ben zelf ook een nederlander, maar woon al sinds mijn negende in het buitenland) gehoord dat dit woord begripsmatig wat anders is dan het woord pleasant in termen van strekking. Zij vertelden mij namelijk dat het woord gezellig ook gebezigd wordt om een soort sociale plezier aan te duiden, plezier die men in groepsverband beleeft. Vandaar wellicht het wortelwoordje gezel, indien deze vaststelling inderdaad waar is. In hoeverre bent u het hiermee eens?

Oh my goodness! Another crazy dutch word: "nuttig" also exists wihtin the german language....... it means "slutty"! Example: "Sieh mal, wie nuttig die angezogen ist!" = "Look how slutty she is dressed!" I love the Dutch language because, for my german ears, there are so many funny and bizarre words in it!
