hello, I started month ago with illustrator. love your tutorials. hope you can make some videos explaining which tool is used for what effect. by learning the logic behind it, a student like me would start to think with his own mind when making new ideas, rather than following steps to get a result. for example, live paint. in all tutorials they say click make than expand, without explaining what one does and what the other.

i AM STILL SO STRESSED WITH THIS EMBOSSED STORY - and I did it along with you but it didn't save a Graphic style? Only if I open the file I did the tutorial is it there? What am I doing wrong
Thanks, it's cool! But very pity - because of rasters inside it's not valid for the stocks. Maybe you know a way to make it and save it in the vector style for vector stocks?
I think I'm doing something wrong. Whenever I do the transform option, the words are not aligned. When I set the horizontal and vertical the words are stacked.
Exactly what I was looking for! I was able to achieve the opposite embossed "in" look by swapping the opacity settings (multiply & screen)
