Fair play for pretty much checking Laurence was ok before anything else 👍🏻 hope the bike was ok. Apart from the little mishap Girona is definitely on the bucket list.
So glad you guys are alright. I must have PTSD or something. Seeing you go down is like watching a close friend crash…it really got me. I’m 5 weeks out from my first crash after two years of cycling. I healing from a broken clavicle, six broken ribs, and a broken vertebrae. I have a long way to go, but i’m doing well. But I’ll tell you seeing a crash affects me very differently now than it did when watching videos. Sooooo very glad you guys are alright. Watching your vids has gotten me from not being able to move to going back to work tomorrow. Blessings from Texas and thanks for the inspiration. Been riding through you guys!
im not even kidding when i say that everytime i watch your videos, i get a sudden urge to want to go out to cycle for myself, such great quality and good vibes always. great video as alwys keep it up!
That could have been a lot worse, I'm very glad you're all ok. This channel has given me the cycling bug and I couldn't be happier you'll be able to continue the amazing work. Strong work lads, congratulations!
Thanks for sharing your videos they’re captivating…. I’m really sorry you two fell on that wet corner, ouch 😓 I’m glad you guys were okay… watching your videos with a smile from ear to ear, they’ve beautifully fun….I hope you keep riding and sharing your fun bike adventures, what a dream😊ride and be safe …
Great series again Thomas. Really interesting to see your videos and Laurence’s of this trip. Both gave slightly different perspectives which really enhanced to whole trip. And like others said, fair play to you for checking on Laurence first. Top man!!
Thanks for sharing these videos through out Spain. With a possible move that way, it is good to see the different ride options! Stay safe and hope that you healed ok.
Glad you and Lawrence were OK after your tumble, that road rash is gonna be a little tender for a week or 2. The whole series of videos from you and Lawrence have been brilliant to watch and would love to see more collaborations in the future 😀 The best thing about cycling is planning your next epic two wheeled adventure 😀
Being no stranger to gravel rash over my years of cycling, I can sympathise buddy. Shit happens and usually quickly, but you guys there for each other and nice that members of the public checked you were both ok. Three superb videos giving a massive insight into an epic trip. Keep up all the good work and all the best for the coming season. Tel.
This series was brilliant, really enjoyed the format! Apart from everything that has already been said I wanted to suggest a place for some epic rides and filming - Gran Canaria. Most people think of Tenerife when talking of Canary island, but believe me Gran Canaria offers so much to ride and enjoy in terms of scenery, food and culture.
Getting ready for a trip to Girona in April so this was great to see (aside from the crash of course). I noticed you have an integrated cockpit and wondered how you were able to get the handlebars almost fully off when packing in the box. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks and really enjoy your videos.
Respect to both, heavy crash that one. Some feeling hitting the floor, no idea how hard you’ve hit the deck and just takes it out of you a little. Well played both ! Scary times with shit on the floor. 😊
Another great one guys! I see what you mean about Girona, what a lovely place. Shame about the crash. You were doing so well but really glad you came out ok. could have been a lot worse. When I used to do that, the first stupid thing I used to think about was; is the bike ok?. than limp around a cursing a lot after. LOL!!! Really enjoyed all 3 videos. Thanks for sharing!!!
Those downhill section corners are tight and you'll struggle to take them full gas especially if you don't keep off the damp patches, lesson learned I hope fellas;-)
Great vids - good crack between you all. Hope the bikes all OK after that - just shows how fast these things can happen even to very experienced and capable bike handlers. Nc500 or Wild Atlantic Way would be fun given how much you all enjoyed the cooler weather
Great little group and you all worked so well together. How about the 3 of you do Zwifts Ride California challenge in real life that would make a cool video.
Another fantastic video Thomas. So glad you were ok after that crash. The GoPro footage was a lot better than the iPhone which was washed out of colour. Glad to hear you are planning to team up again. How about Tenerife and the Mt.Teide climb?
re-watching this, on my kickr bike, window open, as wet heavy snow falls in Toronto. longing to go back 🥺Also phone footage looks great. EDIT: so sorry to see the crash. glad you're both ok
Ouch! Good work all of you, looking forward to more trips and film making. Re the footage: the phone was sharper, with a shallower DoF and less saturated colours, which I preferred. However, the sound was not as good compared to the GoPro. Maybe a mic muff thing for the phone and try again? Big up yourselves X
Damn. Heart was in mouth watching. Was really engaged into your KoM attempt and then bang!!!! Wow. But really glad you both okay. That’s all that matters. Thanks for sharing ✅🍺🍺🍺
Not much you could have done about that crash, but it is something to be aware of on mountain runs.. often water or even ice to watch out for.. Always slow for the corners, feed it on the straights
Yeah just one of those things… I think because the patch was so small, made it easy to overlook! I’ve descended in far worse conditions many many times and always been okay… just catches you out when you least expect it unfortunately! 🙈
If you want to know a true cycling paradise you have to come to Ávila, Asturias or the Basque Country, but in spring or summer. Good videos. Regards 🖐🚲💪
Great vid Mr M hope the bike is ok mate ? I’m gonna venturing out that way in the summer but without a bike !! Keep up the good work keep doing it for the Brits 👍🏽💪🏾
Excellent content, your videos brings me much need joy. Keep up the good work, and can you do a video on your setup and gear? Also try an IPhone it’s excellent.
Thank you! 😁🙏 I don’t usually like to do videos like that… because I personally find them boring to watch, and also they’re boring to make… And yes the phone clips were shot on an iPhone!
Enjoyed this series of videos they have been great. The crash looked bad, glad you got off okish, I think you will use it as an excuse to come back though 😉
Daym bro that crash was terrible. I’m glad you’re both ok though. As far as future trips go, somewhere in Asia would be awesome. Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea just to throw out some suggestions.
that looked like an awesome trip. the video of the crash was epic - glad you guys only got scratches. It looks like you are using the wahoo pedals - what is your take on those, do you like them and do they seem accurate? And are you using the single power or dual power?
@@17cream oh yeah time was awful for riding… but I did a ton more amazing rides! Went up the stelvio, adventures is Sorrento and even made it all the way down the Sicily… riding was beautiful there! I’ll do something with the footage soon… 😁👍
Superb videos Thomas! What an adventure and so inspiring!! has definitely got me thinking of doing something similar, your bike stood up well to the different terrain you covered and long distance, so now that you've done this would you change your bike or look to get something different?, I would be interested in any recommendations you have on this mate 👍 Looking forward to the next adventure the 3 amigo's get up too!! Thanks very much Kenny! Definitely get out on an adventure… you won’t regret it! In regards to the bike… everyone knows that I absolutely love my SuperSix and yes it performed flawlessly. Omg the slip looked wild (ps: always wear gloves we fall hand first)
Second this. I always wear full-finger gloves cause I'm clumsy. They saved my hands a couple of times.
I’ll be honest I only wear gloves to keep warm… in the summer I’m a bare hand kinda guy! I’ve always been that way from bmxing for a long time.
Cycle around Mauritius and take on the climbs! Go mid year, cold for the locals, but at 24-27deg C it’s prime for cycling!

Thomas...the road rash, your tattoos? Do they grow back with your skin?
Great video . I defs reckon the gopro footage was miles better than the phone 😂😂
It came out weird on these clips I must admit. The colour grading is harder- apple does something weird with the footage
It’s partly my fault for not colour grading the clips properly… I was in a rush! 🙈
