Up until two weeks ago most players I was facing had so little invested in Sentry that I was still mopping the floor with him with Black Widow; now I absolutely do not disrespect sentry, and sent Natasha to the retirement home. She can solo Master Mold easily survives Galactus! It’s unreal!
Unless I keep facing the most jank builds, Cage hasn’t put up much of a fight against my Apex Hulk. I mean, I didn’t know what the cards were like, what Uru (if any) was equipped, if the had any blessings on him... But 8 6-star HP, 4 Heal Blessings, a near perfectly rolled CTP Regen, cards that would have made me a top-100 contender 4 months ago that nearly max out my speed & cool-down; Cage got tired & had himself a little (dirt) nap. Beast Mode’s Daredevil on the other hand... he put up one hell of a fight. Not saying your Cage or Cage in general isn’t good, but I think Daredevil has better potential. She’s the new Black Widow. Only because I haven’t met one that challenged my Hulk-Colossus-Iron Skull team. EDIT: forgot I had a TL refill. Did that over breakfast. Normally, or rather every other day this week, if my Hulk fell I was just screwed. ..Except today my Iron Skull just solo’d a Sentry-Hulk-Colossus team, in Vibranium.. There’s no reason the should have happened. I have no explanation. If someone told be that it happened, I’d straight up call them a liar. I saw it for myself, and do not believe it actually happened! The player somehow slipped into TL Vibranium with terrible cards & Jank builds.

I like how devs gave us characters who can/are beating pvp beasts like sentry, hulk,ss . I was gonna build my hulk or ss from base but now i m goin for luke for sure .
Don’t just build sentry because his still a beast without uniform able to beat Jean hulk thanos etc my sentry is lv66 with Authority gears aren’t fully upgraded and I’m able to fight lv70 thanos Jean and now I can just stand their and fight SS 🤷🏾♂️
I’m going to say that’s probably a good call, but not because I believe Cage to be a better character. 100% can say cage has a better lead than Hulk for sure, and is cheaper that the other two. I wouldn’t sleep on Daredevil though. Have you seen what Beast Mode’s can do? I faced against both in Vibranium, and didn’t break a sweat with Cage, I honestly can say the only reason I didn’t lose to DD was because I was on manual with high speed & cool down.

But if you need a competitive team up & running yesterday, obviously take the lower resources consuming characters.

For pve 100% better than him For pvp i think luke cage is better So overall rogue is better than luke cage because pve is the main thing in mff,pvp is just a small game mode compared to pve which is basically the entirity of mff
Yeah..... I have Cage. And Unless you plan doing all manual TL run this weekL, he isn't that good (his skill rotation on Auto is not good). Any opposing Cages get ran over by my Sentry in a matter of 5-6 seconds. I am going to stick Hulk for TL. Hulk can kill everyone except Dormammu and Cage while i eat a sandwich ...🤣! Timeline doesn't have the HP scaling of AT. So he is less effective on auto. However, Jean is going to run him over next week after when she is unbanned. I like Cage..... super fun to play and nice to see him a pvp force again after years of sucking. However, you are overselling my dude.
It’s... excessive. But from what I’m gathering here, playing him on manual with 6% pierce makes a big difference. This is not your ordinary Cage. Alex, take him, that whole team in fact, into conquest, see how they do. I’m better you’ll get different, less favourable results.
@@locomadman In AC.... Defenders are a certified Hulk destroyers. And T3 Daredevil is extremely good vs blast/some universal. They are fairly formidable in AC and AT with its exaggerated hp boosts. I do have 6% pierce and 4 % concentration. But yeah.... Cage in TL has to be played manual like Gambit/Cable. They all have similar rotations that. There are of, course at lot of factors..of course. Hp, pierce, concentration, attack, id....etc. But he isn't a all around pvp meta like SS, Sentry, Jean or Hulk due his poor AI rotation. Which they do on purpose. I remember when they messed and made Winter Soldier a god tier meta pvp on infinity war update and nerfed hin within a few days with a bad AI skill rotation.... lol!

Luke cage has higher hp than a hulk 8n a fight although his base Hp is lower because his passive hp buff only applies when he is being used. If he isn’t the current character you are using in timeline his hp is lower, but when you use him his hp increases
I just fought against someone in the challenger league with the same team of Luke, Jessica, colossus. My sentry struggled a little but I crushed him with the silver surfer with 5 and 3 combo.
It's almost funny how they don't follow the power level of characters in the comics, Luke Cage, Mystique, Moon Knight, Medusa etc. But it's nice with cheap, good characters.

A Colossus backup makes or breaks the difference between my Hulk walking away with a “W” & eating canvas. They ever give him even a T3, he’s disrupting the entire meta completely. Straight up trooth!
He was never that great to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I use him all the time, because I really want to play with my favorite character but has so many flaws it's absurd. No revive despite being immortal, no accumulation despite being The Hulk, s that get interrupted, bad energy defence, no incapacitation or fracture and worst of all NO PIERCE. Playing with him is like playing at the casino completely RNG

Luke cage is no replacement for Sentry.. trust me 😂 Sentry is still the god of PvP. Wait till he gets a uniform. My suggestion is to build Luke cage too. Cuz he's easy to build. Plus build Sentry Sentry is good for PVE too... I have cleared many high stage World boss using Sentry
Defeating characters on manual play in pvp is nothing special, IMO. One guy from my alliance could beat my main pvp team (Greed Jean, Brilliant regen SS and colossus) with a team of t3 jean WITHOUT a uniform, barely equipped sentry and scream by playing manually. The true value in a pvp character in this game lies in winning consistently on auto.

Luke cage has higher hp than a hulk 8n a fight although his base Hp is lower because his passive hp buff only applies when he is being used. If he isn’t the current character you are using in timeline his hp is lower, but when you use him his hp increases
My luke cage cant kill sentry but daredevil can with a pretty low build

A Colossus backup makes or breaks the difference between my Hulk walking away with a “W” & eating canvas. They ever give him even a T3, he’s disrupting the entire meta completely. Straight up trooth!

Not really you don’t see hem in pvp (Luke) and most people don’t run a team with only hulk so haveing hem is still great
He was never that great to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I use him all the time, because I really want to play with my favorite character but has so many flaws it's absurd. No revive despite being immortal, no accumulation despite being The Hulk, s that get interrupted, bad energy defence, no incapacitation or fracture and worst of all NO PIERCE. Playing with him is like playing at the casino completely RNG

Sentry is still the god of PvP. Wait till he gets a uniform. For the record I'm playing with sentry for few months now & I was never ever defeated when I had Sentry on the team. He can slap Dormammu, Jean, Knull, silver surfer, Luke cage, Rogue, Daredevil.... Anyone
My suggestion is to build Luke cage too. Cuz he's easy to build. Plus build Sentry
Sentry is good for PVE too... I have cleared many high stage World boss using Sentry

Defeating characters on manual play in pvp is nothing special, IMO. One guy from my alliance could beat my main pvp team (Greed Jean, Brilliant regen SS and colossus) with a team of t3 jean WITHOUT a uniform, barely equipped sentry and scream by playing manually. The true value in a pvp character in this game lies in winning consistently on auto.
