The genshinlab and sensor tower sales estimation is super inaccurate and literally means nothing. Both genshin and star rail are making way more than you think, but there is literally 0 way to know which one is making more on a monthly basis.

I did see a few genshin stans cope that way. Seriously, genshin right now has a lot less content that HSR and the turn-based style and animations of HSR is very satisfying I don't even ever want to go back to genshin going all hyperbloom I spiral abyss and farming artifacts during specific days 24/7 and walking hundreds of miles and climbing mountains tediously and one-shotting hilichurls.
He does infinite follow up attacks, I genuinely can not believe that he is free. GENUINELY

Man, this patch is crazy. I got Ruan Mei, then last hours last pull Blade, selector (300 pulls) and now free Dr.Ratio. It's so much work to build them all (Mei aside) but it feels good.
Managed to pull a last second ruan mei, got my 300 summon for E1 bronya and now another free 5 star with ratio, feels great man.

The worst part about being ftp is knowing that whenever people makes guides, you will 70% or more of the time say "I don't have that"
The only characters that are always recommended that I don't have are Luocha and Fu Xuan and that's because I started playing late 1.3, and I skipped Fu Xuan for Jingliu. (Honestly worth it but I'll try get either Fu Xuan since I had to miss her or Topaz & Numby because I lost the 50/50 Jingliu's lc because I lost the 75/25)
I occasionally spend like $30-$40 every 3 or 4 weeks when I have the extra cash and even I don't have like 90% of the shit these build guides are talking about most of the time lmao. The sooner you realize that these are guides for the super whales the better. Though braxophone is good about including the free to play options without underselling them too much.

@@Ultima1134 Yeah character banners are the only thing I drop money on and fortunately they're spaced out enough to allow for saving up jades and the spare change I've got. I completely ignore lightcones. Though I will say Kafka's seems pretty tempting since she's my main at this point and supposedly it benefits a Kafka and Black Swan team quite a bit. After Black Swan, Acheron is probably the only character I have a strong desire to get so I'm just gonna be chilling after that. I'll get anything else on a rerun unless its another Ruan Mei type of deal lol.

Since Silverwolf a limited character, i pair my dr ratio with welt+luca's lightcone.
When doing skill, it's free 2debuff (slow+deff down).
Not to mention welt energy regen is very fast for ulting to add extra debuff(imprisoned) and extra damage for the bandit set.
He’s actually pretty cracked, his lightcone is even insane but not needed. They got so much free advertising by this.

19:07 I pulled for his light cone hoping I could get it early. 1 10 pull in, 9 pity, I secured it. Which is great because I don't have a swordplay and my Topaz is using Stellar Sea, so now my Ratio is absolutely cracked. 3.3k atk, 56/151 crit ratio, 138 spd, even 1.4k def so he doesn't die in one shot. Spent no money to get him, still have almost 70 wishes with 3 weeks to grind more and I'm so happy!
Congrats!! This happened to me for Jingliu, but I went hard pity and lost my 75% chance for Ruan Mei's, but it was worth it 😅

Happened to me at Jing Yuans first banner. Did 1 10 pull and got his light cone. But I dont even have Jing Yuan lol
My Dr Ratio hits 5k damage in skill and 11k in follow up but the crazy thing is that he keeps hitting as long as there is debuff lol such a crazy character.
I actually accidentally got e1 for topaz (still needed guineifen and happened to get e1 topaz) and her e1 adds another debuff which works quite well with Dr Ratio
Similar happened to me, lost the 50/50 but the 180 pity 10 pull had two Topaz's in it.
@@mindcrime2692 mine was a little different, sadly no double 5 stars in one 10 pull, I had got topaz at 70 something pity, but I didn't have guineifen yet so kept pull and 20 pulls later I got e1 topaz at 17 pity, I also got guineifen in that same 10 pull

Thanks to bro, I managed to clear MoC 12. Btw when he procs follow up attack, it doesn’t count as another turn so Bronya’s skill buff works very well with him.

You did see the non boss enemy was still alive after the ult and the first follow up that together did over 200k damage right? Not enough damage clearly if the enemy is still alive.
Should also mention there's new Light cones coming to the Forgotten Hall in 2.0+, and the Hunt one seems to work really well with Ratio. I can't remember what it was exactly, but you can look it up.
Gachasmack saying the imaginary set is better than the new upcoming set for dr ratio in most situations. I will farm new set too but i already have a solid set lol

I have to wonder if the sales will go up since whales might go for lightcones or so on. I can see a world where this is a net positive for them even in raw revenue since it incentivizes people to whale. If they make more money as a result of this and it is not just advertising I can imagine this being a normal occurrence which would be sick.

5:36 I'd say that statement is wrong. Saying it costs nothing to release a character for free is like asking you to do videos without add revenue or sponsorships. It costs a lot of money to design, create, animate, write and voice a character. And that does not even include the effort that is made in the 1.6 event with Dr Ratio. It's not like they are giving us 180 wishes, because that would technicialy be a no loss scenario as they don't have to work and just send the wishes. Just wanted to point that out, you let it sound like you can create a Ruan Mei with two pennys and a ripped part of cardboard.
about the loss of potential profit, that's true but incorrect. Because they are not directly financially compensated for the development of the character. They make a financial loss but gain a lot of followers in return. It's just the wording xD

If Welt has the light cone that breaks defense on imprisonment, that is 3 debuffs right there from one unit, then buff attack, and Ratio goes off

I’ve yet to spend money on this game, and honestly, I enjoy the challenge I get out of the game as a result. It’s like playing a rogue like in that you take what the game ends up giving you, and you figure out how to beat it. I don’t know, I just think it’s more fun that way. Also, love that Dr Ratio defeats foes with his imagination, definitely looking forward to playing around with him.

God i wish there was a Relic Set just for him... I don't know, like, 2p with Bonus damage against debuffed targets and maybe a 4 piece who gives you more Crit chance and if your target has 2 or 4 debuffs, you deal 8% or 12% more Crit damage, oh that would be pretty cool...

My Seele ult does massive damage with her high crt dmg and high crt rate.
He is literally popping off with pretty low Crit/CritDMG. I have him with 60%/130% and Ratio is def the biggest dps in my roster right now.
