- VQ35DE straight piped, no muffler, resonator, or cats. Loudest between 2-3k rpms. Drone isn’t too bad unless you’re in that rpm range, you can easily drive without any droning if your foot isn’t too heavy.
Clean. Love the backfires. If you still got it you should go full off-road, lift, mud tires light bars etc. it’d go hard
I had planned on going that route, I eventually got some BFG ko2s and wanted some black ebay rims to slap on it but wanted a manual instead so I sadly ended up selling it.

I found it to be a good amount less raspy than a 350/g35. Not sure what it is specifically but if you compare the two cars straight piped, the pathfinder is a brilliant amount more pleasurable to hear.

I’ve never realized how similar the r50 3.5 sounds to the r51 4.0. I have a 4.0 in mine that has no cats with a flow master super 10 and it sounds pretty similar.

I have a Infiniti qx4 2000 with a 3.3 has a flow master 40 series and nothing else rear muffler delete so has cats and that muffler .... sounds pretty good not stupid loud but enough lol

Sounds aggressive. Looking to do a cat delete on one side till I can get a cat replacement for upstream. You got the upstream cat deleted too? Custom piping I'm assuming?
All custom piping and fully straight piped, no cats. I did end up putting on a 4.5” resonated top which cleaned it up a tad and looked nice.

dude put a intake on it like mine i have a k&n intake on it straight pipe and my pathy roars !! and i have the 5 speed version SE v6 only had 80k miles when i bought it for 2grand crazy !!! but i have considerable underbody work to be done everything else is like brand new still only has 111k miles its weird mines straight pipe but doesn't putter or make the anoying rattle it just roars like a sport car
Yeah I don’t know what the deal is with the drone around 2500 rpm. You could easily drive without hitting that zone though. You don’t have cats? I would’ve put some money into but wanted something else with a stick. I bet it’s a blast with a manual, you’re lucky to have found one. Enjoy it!

And what's up with that engine service soon light I have the same thing on mine 49000 miles
Well I know mine doesn’t have cats which set off the O2 sensors, therefore throwing the engine service light. It’s been on for the whole time the cats have been removed by the previous owner I would assume, and ever since I’ve had the car. (Sub 15,000 miles and cats were gone when I got the car, which led to me to carelessly straight pipe it all the way.)
@@Garrett_James with that engine service soon light does that does anything for the car does that bother it or that only messes you up when you have to do an inspection
@@Garrett_James I love the straight pipe the only problem is too loud sometime you want to go into your neighborhood without nobody knowing you're coming so right now my car is quiet the first call I brought was a lemon really work for 3 Days Nissan Pathfinder 2002 and I brought a 2001 August 1st I still have to go to court to sue the other dealership they still have my car has been 4 months nobody fixed it
@@Garrett_James and every time I call they hang up that one had $171,000 only drove it for 3 days and never turn back on they said there's something wrong with the ECU
MURKIN RANZYZ don’t know what to tell you but where I live there isn’t inspection. The car works perfect even with the service light on and has been the past year.
is it a 3.3l v6? i have an 04 frontier 3.3l with a muffler delete to an anxle dump has a nice deep tone but not loud enough for my likings but i’m scared if i straight pipe it it would sound like shit
It’s a 3.5 and was mainly for shits and giggles. I say test it out and see how you like it yourself

Just a bunch of mostly 2 inch piping replacing everything; muffler, cars, resonators. Full straight pipe, no specific exhaust brand but metal pipes.

Perhaps. I got the car with the cats deleted, so I wouldn’t know. I’d assume so though, I’ve done plenty of muffler deletes to plenty of cars and you never know.

I ended up putting a muffler on it and sold it. It was just a fun ride for the time being and wanted to make a video for those pondering of a fully straight piped pathfinder.
