റാം കാത്തിരുന്നു, കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ളത് എല്ലാ നല്ല മനുഷ്യരെയും വേദനിപ്പിച്ചു, വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, ജാനുവിന്റെ നഷ്ടപ്രണയത്തെ കുറിച്ചും നമ്മൾ വേദനിച്ചു. വളരെ ക്രൂരനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ പോലും വേദനപ്പിക്കാനും ശാന്തമാക്കാനും മൃദുലമാക്കാനും ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് സാധിക്കും, അതാണ് ഈ സിനിമയുടെ ഫലവും വിജയവും.
ഈ സിനിമയിലെ എല്ലാ (7) ഗാനങ്ങളും ശോകമായതൊ അർദ്ധശോകമായതൊ ആയ വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്നവയാണ്, നല്ല ഗാനങ്ങളുമാണ്. മറ്റൊരു സിനിമയിലും ഇങ്ങനെയില്ല.

Gouri and Aditya have done very well in the film. Vijay sethupathy is one of the all time greats of the south Indian film industry. And Thrisha is a fantastic actress. I feel that she can do better if she sheds the feeling of self conciousness. That is , the feeling that ' I am a celebrity or I am beautiful etc. ' After manasellam manasellam she got a good role and she did justice to the faith put in her. A great film in every sense. A 'thoroughly enjoyable' tear jerker !

Best love story I’ve ever seen ,heartily thanks to C Prem kumar sir for showing the unconditional , pure , soulful love story .. realistic performances by everyone & what to say about vijay sir , hat off to him , he just proved that he is one of the best actor in the world . I just couldn’t stop tears from my eyes while watching this movie ... really it’s one of the greatest movie ever made
