It is an absolutely lovely engine no doubt but this bike is not meant to be ridden slow. Neither is the RC/Duke 200. The Duke 250 and Gixxer 250 are the best according to me. I have the BS6 Duke. Jaise bhai ne kaha, experience and iss bike ka pull. PLEASE ride safe. Legendary bike hai but sirf experienced riders ke lie hai. Sach yahi hai ke abroad bhi jo log R3/Duke 390 ko first bike lete hai, those people are just dumb. Ab aaya samajh kyun Indians har country mai successful hote hai? Common sense and hardwork. Gixxer SF 250 and 150 are so refined and can run even at low speed and high gear.
The main reason why that happens in 390 is because of the emissions.The bike struggles to breathe out.
