I broke down and bought a record player at the beginning of the pandemic. I was 18 in 1997 and all my favorite bands put out records but I preferred to buy things on formats that were portable. I used the first stimmy to support all the bands I had been basically stealing from by only subscribing to Spotify (I had four kids from 2005 to 2013, so it was a necessary theft). I bought all the Wye Oak records. But this new Flock of Dimes is becoming the first post-pandemic album I put on and flip and flip and flip and flip and flip and flip. Damn near perfect.
Would love to see you live! TWO HEADS is one of my favorite albums of the year, and it helps me sort through weird feelings that are so often difficult to understand

This is so wonderful and there is a reason the members of Bon Iver say Wasner can do all the things they can do but better. Phenomenal stuff.
