It is very difficult to not get swept up into the current of their voices. To a person they are all exceptionally talented and their superb blending simply takes the song and the listener to a newer higher level. Their voices also have the ability to strum on the heart strings. I feel the emotion as well and I'm not a particularly emotional person, lol. Once again, your response is reflective of my experience and I so deeply appreciate your perspective and your genuineness. Be blessed! 🙏🙏

Dude who wrote the original hym was a notorious slave ship captain 💀. He became a Christian and worked really hard for abolition. At a time when lots of people thought it was shameful 😔 😕 for him to do so. The power of the words are completely genuine. He realised that when he had put chains ⛓ on other humans they had really been on him.
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free...
When people speak of a choir of heavenly voiced singing this must be it.
