An exteneded version of two of my Lovecraftian inspired ambient tracks looped back to back
Track 1 Evening At Innsmouth (Lovecraftian Ambient)
Track 2 Dunwich (Lovecraftian Ambient)
This brings me back 50 years to an ocean journey I made in my youth, with my family, from Nova Scotia to visit my mother’s relatives in Newfoundland. I can still smell the mix of diesel fuel, rusted ferry hull, the barnacles on the aged pier and the cold sea spray . . .
The world needs more of your Lovecraft stuff. You and the folks at Cryo Chamber get it.
That cold calm that hints at deeper darkness.
The orchestral people don’t get it.
HuuuuuuuuwOW! Had me at the first note!
I live in Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts which is two towns over from Ipswich which is the actual town that Lovecraft based Innsmouth on.
That’s awesome! I live in NH too and my uncle lives in Ipswich , I spent a lot of time growing up there and definitely see the influence on “Innsmouth”. Cheers man!
@@chennessycomposer Hey that's cool. Nice to see a fellow New Englander on here. Yeah Ipswich is a very "lovecraftian" little town. Go visit soon! Peace man!
This is the perfect cinematographic ambiance for a Lovecraft movie or even video game.
“Certainly, the terror of a deserted house swells in geometrical rather than arithmetical progression as houses multiply to form a city of stark desolation. The sight of such endless avenues of fishy-eyed vacancy and death, and the thought of such linked infinities of black, brooding compartments given over to cobwebs and memories and the conqueror worm, start up vestigial fears and aversions that not even the stoutest philosophy can disperse.”
~ H.P. Lovecraft, "The Shadow over Innsmouth" (written in 1931, published in 1936)
There is something about this, it creates in me a deep sense of ennui, as if I suddenly understand the profound meaninglessness before, behind, and beyond it all. I don't know how you did it, but somehow you managed it. Brilliant!
Something so mystic..so real..mysterious and plainly... Beautiful.. Had to be call... Mines❤. Thank you
I love the first part. I just stopped looking at my phone and just watched the image on my tv. Just let it exist for a moment.
I love writing and studying to this music.
Excellent ambient track for games, will give you a shout out!
Oh! This is really good! My favorite Lovecraft story.
You don't know how long I've been waiting for this. It's amazing! Really well done!
This is an incredibly beautiful and haunting piece. It’s strength lies in its sense of space, amplified by its simplicity of elements. Absolutely gorgeous and hypnotic.
Thank you sir for the kind words
@@chennessycomposer any chance to know what instrument you use to make that music?
@@chennessycomposer It's crazy that you have this ability to encapsulate the feeling of an entirely fictional context into a piece of music. Well bloody done.
@@alecthomas2488 wow thanks! Much appreciated
Been working on a book for months, getting back to it after a break because of work, this helps me a lot, thank you.
****** That’s awesome! Glad to hear it
Ah what is the name of this book?
@@mordok7987 The Shadow Over Innsmouth
@@chennessycomposer are you using indians cords instruments in your music?
Wonderful composition!
"Sails out of Innsmouth! Echoing old renown of long dead times, but now a too-swift night is closing in..."
I love
good lord this is so good!
Wow!
Mud flood tunes. Very nice!
Why are there so many long pauses between songs?
🎏 We have emerged from the Chaos, we will return to Void. In the middle there is love, hate, dreams and the works of men and women💃💃
What instrument did you use for tge string instrument? Its sou d like an oriental instrument but i cannot pinpoint what it is.
probably a hurdy-gurdy or a wheel-harp
Awsome

Well this is unexpected, but welcome nonetheless!
Its like arabic horror
Vaguely reminds me of Bloodborne
for good reason. bloodborne has many lovecraftian cosmic horror tropes, especially nearing the endgame
The lions share of this is a Dunswich ambience, not an Innmouth ambience.
