Drove this exact year car to Alaska from Vancouver as a teenager! quite the journey and the car never let me down once! ...broke down about 3 days after i got home though lol, sold it and have regretted it for years! awesome car Nathan!

I was given a 78 malibu for my 16th birthday, loved that thing. Needless to say it was way too fast for my own good.
Yeah it was cool until the Massachusetts state police asked me why i was doing 160 down interstate 93. "The car said it could do 140, i was unaware i was doing 160". That was a fun speeding ticket to pay even if the cop let me off with a 80 in a 55 ticket, impressed by my honesty and the fresh paint.
wow i have 1 1976 malibo clasic and it is running great and well it quit running last year and im going to make it run!

Going to look at buying one of these in bright white color with ss cragars and a 350sbc here in NZ, will be perfect as a muscle car/cruiser as I'm in a wheelchair but it has the big front seat with centre divider and all the bits useful to me

73-77 Chevelle/Malibu's are really not too rare, except in that good of condition, just the red headed step child of Chevrolet. Almost no aftermarket support and the weight/size kills these things. There's like 5 or 6 of them within 100 miles of me on Craigslist right now, everyone of them is in rough shape though. But there is even fewer G-Body cars on there right now too. I don't ever see them being a hot commodity classic like the 72 and earlier cars, just an odd generation.
great looking I have a 74 chevelle / Malibu classic with 53,000 original moles just as clean in that chocolate brown inside even cleaner than yours I am building it now putting a 383 stroker motor in it . anyway beautiful car !!!

350 engine w a two barrel carburetor ? Is. That righf its what a malibu would have come with none of them had a 4 barrel carb or anything to.boost performance at all.my 73 malibu was in good shape the chevelle ss was not it was a total rust bucket but i used everything off fhe ss to clone the malibu the factory guages swivel bucket seats posi rear all the badges etc and unless you. Really knew chevys it was not easy to tell it was not a real ss when i got it all done the 400 small block in it and it was finally finished i wrecked it one night on slippery roads fishtailing at about 50 smack dab in the cemter into a pole lost interest in it after that it was never right again ended up.in the jumkyard and that ztill did not stop me from drinking that took another 20.yrs at least uggg
