I was in EMS and Law Enforcement. I would have LOVED this for that application. The only thing would be a good pouch to carry the unit on a belt. If you ever converse with the manufacturer, mention that a pouch would be helpful to market it to Civil Servants.
That is a very cool tool to have in your car Sootch00. It's a little pricey but you can't put a price on a life. Great job on finding that tool Sootch00. Always long live the republic
It's crazy how it does take much to break a car window. Lol As an owner of a 97 F-150 I know where to mount it when I get one. Thank you for taking the time to share this. 👍👍
Nice tool. Need to check one out. Great channel been watching the sootch channel but just started watching this one. Good stuff. Not sure why I watch it sooner. Good stuff
I have 3 different tools my wife has bought for our vehicles over the years and they’re all 3 inside the console now. (We share one truck now.) She used to drive across tampabay every day and I guess has a phobia of being trapped under water. I'm sure if I added the cost of all 3 tools together I'd still be money ahead of a $60 that has the exact same features. But, I will trade you 3 for 1!
A Starrett Automatic Center Punch will break a windshield. Just push it into the glass and the spring loaded hammer will shatter it. Expensive but a tool you can use every day if you do lay out work for your drill press.
Not a bad little device. They should rework how the cap for the cutter is held on. if you look at 6:18 you will see when you snap it into the cradle the cap is wanting to come off. Other than that seems like a good emergency tool.
Nice tool, want to improve it? Make it rechargeable and add strobe feature to the light to blind an attacker, a carrying pouch and you will have the best tool.
as a 29 year old single guy i literally had socks, underwear, and a best buy gift card on my christmas list. this tool is getting added to it for sure.
I know people that had a spade in their car. You can dig out your parking lot in winter, chop branches and put the one bumping into you 6 feet under...
looks nice, but an automatic (spring loaded) center punch will do the same thing, much lower profile, no windup and swing needed! Just hold it in your hand, place the tip on the glass and push. harbor freight
Amazing that that TX policeman drowned in his car in the flooding, ... and he didn't break out the side window and get out, or kick out the front windshield ... could have used this device. Seen many tools, most are worthless, this looks like a beast.
Can't say for sure why TX cop drowned, but a youtube channel did a vid with a scuba diver in the front seat of a car that was pushed into the water. The diver panicked even though he KNEW he'd be OK. He said it was absolutely terrifying, seeing and feeling the water come up over him. So, maybe the cop panicked? In any case, a tragedy for sure.
If you are in a rain and flooding situation - quit driving in a dangerous flood zone and GTFOOD ! Otherwise, you are stuck (and know that the water is rising) - GTFOO the car, even if your shoes and clothes get wet. There was always the option of stopping the car in low water, or losing the engine, and getting out of the car - far earlier and safer. Saving a vehicle (for "face") and losing both life and the vehicle for STOOPIDITY - only earns a Darwin Award. Get out of the flooding area, and stay away from that/those locations, even if it means sitting atop an overpass or bridge, and all water under and around you. But waiting for the rising water to force shut the door - is too long. Roll down the damned window, and GET OUT! If you have waited even further for the water to raise up to the windows and windshield, then the only option is to break the window/kick out the windshield, hold your breath, wait for the major flooding of the water incoming, then get out and swim out - ... all too late for what was a city street situation. Always a good reason to have a hammer in the backseat - smash open the window, ... or plant an indent in a perp's skull trying to rob you or steal the car.
Just a note to those who hope to shatter the side glass of your auto if trapped inside. As of the 2018 vehicle model year, a new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 226, "Ejection Mitigation" system came into effect. All vehicles manufactured after September 1, 2017, must meet this standard in the US. In other words, if you have a vehicle that was made after September 1, 2017, the side glass is laminated and as such, will not shatter. (Thank Uncle Sam for protecting you.)Fire departments / Rescue Squads are having to add additional equipment on their trucks to drill and cut this glass to gain access to crash victims. In other words, if you are trapped in a burning auto, God help you.
Yet again youtube hid this from my subscription list. This has happened for i believe your last 3 videos. Right after you called them out on their bullshit of hiding videos and giving out channel strikes.
God, UA-cam has a history of attacking content creators that cover weaponry and self defense. So it's easy to come to that conclusion. That said, this bug has effected other types of creators as well.
Carl Belcher geesh, let me see. It doesn’t matter what kind, we’ve seen ppl been shot for an officer mistaking a cellphone or any small black artefact for a gun..
So what you're really saying is anything could be mistaken for a gun... not just this. Hmm interesting point. Well how about not grab for stuff in you vehicle while talking to law enforcement?
Carl Belcher who said anything about grabbing?? I said I can see it being mistaken for a gun, and??? Obviously we all know to keep your hands on the steering wheel and not make any sudden movement.. but I can’t speak the rest of the civilians out there.
Thanks a lot! Now thieves know how to break glass more efficiently... I don't understand those kind of videos on UA-cam... If it's just to give us instruction how to protect our cars, say just what we have to buy or instal to fight this plaie
Yes, of course, but they know how to do it more "efficiently" with this video, it's just an experience return, and i'm a lil' disapointed because I fallow your chanel... And you job is great. Best from France. Peace
I was in EMS and Law Enforcement. I would have LOVED this for that application. The only thing would be a good pouch to carry the unit on a belt. If you ever converse with the manufacturer, mention that a pouch would be helpful to market it to Civil Servants.
A pouch would be a good addition. Thanks for your service to your community.

Thanks for watching Jerry! #LLTR
Wow 😳 that thing worked great on that glass. Very cool product, keep up the good work.
Thanks Amy! I appreciate you watching!

Thanks John! Plus Ford Glass to test : )
Love the color you have painted on those walls. The Tool is cool too!! I like that it has 3 functions!!
Thanks for watching DJ!
I like the scenes in the car, the house and outside because they were new points of view
Thanks Pixely! I like making it as interesting as possible : )
Thanks for your review! I've been looking for a tool to keep in my car. This is perfect.
Happy to help! Having an emergency tool is smart! Thanks B
Nice tool. Need to check one out. Great channel been watching the sootch channel but just started watching this one. Good stuff. Not sure why I watch it sooner. Good stuff
Thanks for watching brother!
That's a convinient accesory for a extremly situation. Exelent
Thanks Franco!
Good review Don, I like that product. gonna get one for my daughter to keep in her car!
Always enjoy the testing not only saying it will do "this".
Thanks Travis!
This just replaced my Torch, multi-function is the most efficient for weight. All First responders should have these on their belt.

Great video as always, thank you for sharing these tools and knowledge.
Thanks Wayne!
Thanks for the review! Keep them coming!
Thanks Jax!
Looks like a nice tool to keep in your vehicle!!!
cool little tool there
A Starrett Automatic Center Punch will break a windshield. Just push it into the glass and the spring loaded hammer will shatter it. Expensive but a tool you can use every day if you do lay out work for your drill press.
Only thing I would add is a glow locater so you can find it in the dark. When a emergency happens ever second counts.
Not bad, if they do a sale for the holidays I might pick one up.
Not a bad little device. They should rework how the cap for the cutter is held on. if you look at 6:18 you will see when you snap it into the cradle the cap is wanting to come off. Other than that seems like a good emergency tool.

Great video and review. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jack!
Great video as usual
All it still needs is a head strap attachment so it's hands free to render first aid after escape or mundane car troubles.
Good stuff, thank you for your time.
Combine this with the 'Leatherman Raptor' shears and you're good to go in almost any situation.
Good choice!
looks nice, but an automatic (spring loaded) center punch will do the same thing, much lower profile, no windup and swing needed! Just hold it in your hand, place the tip on the glass and push. harbor freight
That's pretty awesome. Thanks for the heads up Bro! Thumb's up~John
Thanks John!
Nice demonstration.
Thanks Tom!
The vehicle is the mode of choice? I never realized.
Looks like it works great.
Hopefully won’t be last. Great review. Thanks.
Lol! Thanks Jim.
But does it take Glock Mags though...
Everything takes Glock mags, if you try hard enough.
I wonder if that thing can be swung underwater hard enough to break the glass
Have you ever tried the Danner Fort Lewis boots. I don’t like my Acadias as they are too short for a duty/patrol boot.
Danner makes awesome boots.
Dude that thing is awsome
The heck with the flashlight. Where did the magnet come from lol
You killed the squirrel lol... (shaved)... I like it...
Lol! Thanks
Please do another group bug out night video!!
I was gonna guess it would be closer to a C-note, it's priced very competitively. I hope it's made on our shores.
Thanks Mozzberg! I'll have to check it out.
Well the glass breaker certainly works haha but I’d like to have seen it broken from the inside
Cars should come with this...
I like it!
Thanks for stopping by Eric!
You said the word gun once in this review. How long until demonitized?
Lol! Who knows with UA-cam?
Great video very informative. Sorry UA-cam is coming down on you but trust me they are hitting all of us.
what gloves is he wearing for the glass break?
this would be good for first responders to keep in their kits
Definitely! Thanks
Amazing. Theres some lanyard or clip include?
No Clip or Lanyard. That would be a good addition though. Thanks B!
sootch00 👏👏👏
Nice, I going to order me two...
Thanks for watching!
Why not use the steel ball end as a glass breaker and a self defense tool....
It would work for both.
Amazing that that TX policeman drowned in his car in the flooding, ... and he didn't break out the side window and get out, or kick out the front windshield ... could have used this device. Seen many tools, most are worthless, this looks like a beast.
A spring loaded center punch is best for breaking windows because they work under water.
Can't say for sure why TX cop drowned, but a youtube channel did a vid with a scuba diver in the front seat of a car that was pushed into the water. The diver panicked even though he KNEW he'd be OK. I reckon I am the 1st Brit to watch this
Thanks for watching!
Does it work for small plane like a Cessna 152 ?
Jean-Baptiste Cardamone Plexiglas so probably not.....but your elbow will work just fine.
I thought with your thumbnail you were cutting the barrel and that was water coming out!!!
My wife said it’s a nice piece as well
Lol! Thanks
You should do a video about prepping for teenagers. It would be well appreciated.
Cool 4 a EDC item
sorry you tube is giving you such a rough way to go!You are not doing anything wrong!
I always have my gun on me can i not just shoot the glass?
Burst your eardrums maybe. Deaf.
Jairo Canales so let me get this straight you're going to shoot your window out when you get in a wreck. You sir have no sense
Full Metal jacket 88 if i need to i may have to you never know

Thanks for the info! That's definitely not good for those trapped.
Yeesh...$60 for that. Get 3 ResQmes and a small streamlight!
Ryan Hietpas or you can just shoot the glass
Yep! The res q me is great! Ive given one to all my family and a lot of friends.
Agreed to much $$$
That's what each of us has: a ResQme on our keychains and a flashlight in the glovebox.
Okay, Hans...
Looks like you needed a larger tarp for that exploding glass lol
Definitely! LoL!
where is the nose skirt ???????
Down the sink : )
Why do you have 2 gun safes?
CJO Life lots of guns
More guns
Why ask stupid questions
Lol!!!!!!!!!!! Way more than that : )
sootch00 amen brother
very cool thanks for sharing! Would love to see an updated video on precious metals, If your still buying and your thoughts on crypto currency!
Thanks Brother! I'm planning an upcoming metals video..... crypto currency? We'll see.
No idea why you’d need a flashlight to get out a car, and why not just use your knife to cut your belt and break the window?
One time i locked myself out of my car I dropped my keys by the door but I was inside locked in the car.
If the keys were right outside the door you could have CALLED SOMEBODY!
I was busy drinking my big gulp and eating a massive burger with bacon
shouldn't your avatar be spurdo sparde then
Yeah, And I was once trapped on an escalator during a power failure.
I was once locked in my convertible.
Did you just shave?
Yes : )
Oh thank god that mustache is gone. lmao
Lol! It was fun while it lasted but I was ready to move on : ) Thanks Brother
Good stuff Hulk Hogan lol
Thanks Brother! Lol!

It's a bug that FUCKING EVERYONE has gotten don't try to make it some fucking conspiracy!!!
Why the anger man lol
Eric Inman
Because it annoys me that people are still stupid in the 21th century.
God, UA-cam has a history of attacking content creators that cover weaponry and self defense. So it's easy to come to that conclusion.

Garou Wolfs Haven
If you have been keeping up with things for some time you would know they're not "attacking" anyone.
My pistol with a weapon light does all things this does but better 😂
Cuts seat belts? Ever shot a gun inside your car? No good.
Leatherman do one for 20 smackers without light....rip off.
I can picture a cop mistaking it for a gun mounted in your car and freaking out
What kind of gun do you have that looks anything like this? It just looks likes a flashlight.
Carl Belcher geesh, let me see. It doesn’t matter what kind, we’ve seen ppl been shot for an officer mistaking a cellphone or any small black artefact for a gun..
Especially in the dark, with a rookie cop. And especially in commiefornia
So what you're really saying is anything could be mistaken for a gun... not just this. Hmm interesting point. Well how about not grab for stuff in you vehicle while talking to law enforcement?
