👉 Two people, including a woman, were killed in an attack by militants in Imphal West district of Manipur on Sunday. 9 people, including the woman's 8-year-old daughter and a police officer, were injured. मैंने मणिपुर में 30 वर्ष तक कार्य किया उस दौरान मैंने देखा जैसा कि माइते यानी मणिपुरी लोग कह रहे हैं कुक्की लोग भाऺग, धतूरा, अफीम आदि की खेती करते हैं सही है। अगर आज सरकार निरीक्षण भी करती है तो कुछ देखने को नहीं मिलेगा क्योंकि कुक्की इस समय इसे छुपा लेंगे। हमने इन 30 वर्षों में देखा कि कुक्की हमेशा किसी न किसी से पंगा लेते रहते हैं कभी नागा से कभी माइते से । अभी भी कुक्की पूरे गलत कर रहे हैं ।

Kuki homeland was never ever existed in Manipur. How can a Kukiland be carved out of Manipur State to please the recent immigrants from Myanmar? It is not an authentic demand as Manipur has more than 3000 years old recorded history with records of its boundaries. Leaders in the central government should learn history of Manipur before they take any crucial decision. Meiteis are still not united. When Meiteis are united, no powerful force in the world can break the land of Meiteis and Indigenous Tribes which had been protected since the time immemorial.

Kukis & meiteis are totally separated geographically, demographically, physically & emotionally.
But manipur territory is not seperate because manipur join to the india in 1949 by signing merger agreement. There is rule for agreement no one can't divide the territory of manipur. Jammu and Kashmir was broken because they don't sign merger agreement. Manipur is a independent country and have own Constitution before sign the agreement. This agreement was sign between two independent countries india and manipur.
Second thing is that kuki are not Indegeneous of manipur. They are refugees and illigal migrant from Myanmar

In your speech you mentioned that Meiteis have received ST status, it is wrong. High Court recommended to forward the demand of ST to the Central Govt. It's not that simple. This is no only about ending the conflict in the area. Any solution brought will have consequences all over India. It will bring Domino effect. There several other communities and group of people demanding separate land for their group. Once this aim is delivered as a result of violence other groups will bring chaos all the India in near future. The recent Bhel Pradesh rally is a glimpse.
And there is another issue, that is India's border. This also another big issue in the problem. Forgetting about which community , we have to keep in mind that the neighbour is looking for any opportunity to infiltrate regardless of which community helps them.
