hi...would it be easier to put some water in the tin where the wax drains to? I've seen other videos where they do that. The wax will float and it might be bit easier to get out

I love how he doesn’t put anything to waste
I have about 70lbs every year so no solar melting for me. We use the betterway melter which also takes out the honey which is nice. Still need a better filter and wax setup myself. I'm thinking to make ingots.

In a 10 quart stock pot add about 6 cups water and lots of wax, bring to boil then pour into a 5 gallon bucket. Let sit overnight in a cool place. In morning use a knife to wedge the hard wax out of the bucket with the junk and water in the bottom to toss into the yard.
