I had my Mirena IUD for 11 months and it expelled today with a huge blood clot. Ever since I got the IUD I’ve had constant stomach pain. The past few days have been very painful to the point I almost passed out. I feel like this was my body telling me it rejects a foreign object inside. I will never use this again and had only considered this because I have stage IV endo and the gynaecologist recommend this as an effective device to stop ovarian cysts
hi I've got this happening to me at the min mines lost in my body and its a cooper bud I'm in so much pain ,I'm waiting for a procedure to remove it hopefully so i feel your pain x
Same… not only did the obgyn office keep pushing my appointment off, but I just found out recently my strings couldn’t be found..😞this thing should be taken off the market… it does too much harm…
This sounds like my situation exactly, expect my IUD didn't get "lost" inside me, it only migrated upwards and the strings were unreachable for me... I can't imagine her pain 😖😔
😮 Hi, did you end up getting yours taken out? I was told that my strings have disintegrated and it's moved up into the uterus so it's unremovable unless by going under anesthesia n surgery.
Mine couldn’t be found for a year then it appeared on an X-ray. I couldn’t have it removed as the consultant said it would be too difficult and also I take blood thinners so it would be dangerous too. Just over 3 years later it was pulled out with great pain by accident during a smear test. I’m currently suffering with abdominal pain and being treated for inflammation in my abdominal area. Waiting for scans and further tests. Have suffered many side effects and would never recommend

I have similar pain right now, I have the copper IUD after 1 year of having in, now I’m feeling sharp pain when I move. I have to find an OB to check.

It’s like a slight stabbing pain inside. I’m so scared. I’m just crying. I don’t know what to do.
