UPDATE: I found out that the oil tank has been corroding for so many years due to it sitting there and rusting out after years of neglect and there is a pool of oil sitting by the road in the field.
Mind telling us exactly where this was - and when? We often experience a strong smell of crude oil below Coe Ridge and aren't sure where it's coming from. I'd like to look and see if this spill was cleaned up.

There’s an old oil tank just down the road from the Coe Family Cemetery and you’ll see a small pool of oil.
Is there a well over there?
Actually no, it's an old oil tank that has been setting there for a really long time had corroded due to nature's elements what has caused the spill.
